Merry Christmas, everyone! This is the 2023 edition of the annual "Spirit Of Christmas" parade in downtown Altoona, PA. Unfortunately, I found out after the fact that they'd split up the Christmas tree lighting and the parade. Had I known this, I would have filmed the tree lighting the night before and filmed the parade the day after. This video is much shorter than the previous one I filmed as well because the parade is considerably shorter. I also didn't have quite as good of a vantage point to film as I had in the previous years. But I think I did a pretty good job. There were also different announcer personality types this time around than last time. I tried to capture everything but I also tried to trim away the slow parts to keep the pace of it somewhat interesting.

You may notice some differences with the previous installment, namely that this was filmed during the daytime. The weather was also quite unfitting for a Christmas parade as the snow had disappeared. On the other hand, it was quite good weather for the baton twirling women, as they would not have to freeze in their outfits. The temperature was around 10 degrees Celsius, or 50 degrees Fahrenheit. More of an average day for November or April than early December, despite that, it was quite an enjoyable experience for everyone at the parade. I apologize for the inconvenience. But things on here are unfortunately very, very different than they were in 2018. There's nothing I can do except try to make this work. Also, my OG viewers may notice that I didn't include the Christmas tree lighting that I included in 2018, that was because I didn't know until I heard fireworks while I was in the shower that the tree lighting was held the night before the parade, not at the start of it. In future years, I'll film the tree lighting separately but combine everything into a single video.
