I do not think Stroll will be able to keep pace in WEC either. I agree with you though. His father is at the root of most of his issues. I would hate being Lance to be honest.

Lance. What does one do with a Lance? He can be quick. He can be surprising (outside pass was notable). He can be petulant. But that's every F1 driver all 3 ways. Big Daddy saved a team nobody else was lifting a finger to help except Checo. There could have been 2 Haas-like teams, low support and money from an owner who shows little interest. What does one do with a Lance? Endurance racing? Tennis? What if he wins a race? 😁 For a guy everyone rides down, his options are many. Force India races on like Sauber - maybe come back too someday. I was thinking that Sainz might want to join Alonso with Aston Martin. That would give him a shorter path to becoming the number one driver on a team that might have some prospects of improvement in 2025. I haven't forgotten your recommendation that Sainz displace Perez. Just imagining that it must be hard to have Max as a teammate.

Maybe stroll is not that bad. As vandoorne, he is just struggling with the comparison. When matched with Fernando, drivers tend to melt down mentally. It has to be tough do your best lap in a million years and fernando is ahead 2 tenths from nowhere. Except Ocon, since he is a prick he just focused on going dirty against fernando because he knew alonso is clean within the rules

I always wonder if they removed the screaming and shouting petulance from Lance and Yuki's radios, if we would ever really hear them that much. I thought Lance calling Daniel an idiot for braking in THE BRAKING ZONE was totally tone-deaf.

Lets start with "We can do nothing about Lance Stroll". I tbink Lance is better suited for WEC than he is for F1. The impression I have stuff happens to fast for him in F1. In WEC's point of view F1 is a sprint race while WEC racing is all about bring fast but handing over the car to your colleague driver unscaved. It is a total different enviroment. It could suit him.

Alonso said that he is a future World Champion, so he must be doing okay.
