I had this exact output shaft replacement done by a shop when putting in a 4L60E into a Jeep CJ-7. Was always curious on how big a job it was. This was an excellent video and instructor. Thanks for sharing.

I just did this job myself today using this video as a guide. Super easy to follow instructions made it a breeze except I had to drive the 4x4 shaft out and drive the 4x2 in. Thank you for taking the time to make this video!

This is the best video I've ever seen on changing a out put shaft. I just used this video to take my 4 wheel drive and changed it to a 2. Very easy and it is working great. It also saved me a ton of money!! Thank you!!!!

I also appreciate the attention to detail ie; the band mount and close ups on how it came apart etc!! The center support trick is another great tip!! Drop test very effective! A buddy of mine has a four-wheel drive version of the trans and I want to convert it to a two-wheel drive for my application. I'm switching my 4L65e from 4wd to 2wd and swapping the tailshaft. This video helps very much. I don't the history of my transmission so I will have to dig into the other subassemblies and check for worn parts and replace as needed. Thanks very much
