You overlooked one point: Temujin’s older half-brother seemed on the verge of claiming Temujin’s mother as his wife, being the oldest male in the family. This doubtless played a role in the decision to murder his half brother.

This has nothing to do with history but I just wanted to say the way the horses were drawn was cute.

I have always found the story of Genghis Khan amazing. Seeing him come from nothing to become the ruler of such a vast empire is quite incredible. I know he was not the nicest guy but its still a great story.
