In this slightly different adventure, I take on one of my biggest and longest challenges yet to build an entire village in DayZ. It took me over 100 hours to build this village, as I started as a solo, to building a massive army of villagers that dominated and controlled most of the server. But, as the village grew, so did the hatred from other groups.
Excluding cinematics, and narration - every element of this video is 100% raw, and organic footage recorded on a live server.

Guys I'm so sorry for all this flickering during parts of the footage. This is so stupid and disappointing that after all this work there are these issues. Hopefully the video was enjoyable regardless, and this shouldn't happen again! Update: The flickering issue is sorted for the next video I release, found the issue :)

One of the things I have to appreciate is the people he finds to team up with are always cool and down to go whenever he says go! It just dope to see when you have people in your group that are like-minded and are just down to stick with the plan and not be annoying or distracting it’s dope!👏

As someone who has made a village in Rust, I experienced the same thing you did. New friends, backstabbers, building your home- it's a one of a kind experience. I hope more people do this in games like Rust or Dayz because villages are so FUN. Everyone here should try building one of their own. Amazing video JLK, i know a lot went into this one <3

Not only is your quality great but you take us on these amazing adventures. This was like watching a movie. I was constantly rooting for you guys and sad when you had setbacks and probably just as excited for you in the end as you all were. Definitely gained a subscriber.

You know what impresses me the most? Everyone here loves your editing and narrating skills, but the way you manage to often find amazing encounters and building something (other than bases) on your dayz adventures, it's incredible. Everytime I watch a video from you I get the urge to re install the game, but I feel like every sever I try it's KoS

After 8 months of watching about 3 hours of DayZ a day - this sets the bar to an unbeatable level. An astounding story that just kept on giving, edge of my seat all the way. Bloody well done!

Extremely glad that this video is getting the amount of exposure it deserves. DayZ videos have such great long a journeyful stories to tell. This one seriously hits the spot with great story, narration, and leadership. I think the whole idea of Dave seeming like the leader of this group was so cool. Everyone seemed like they counted on him and he always knew what to do best for the village. Hope this keeps getting the exposure it deserves, great work

I’ve been binge watching DayZ on YouTube for nearly a month and I have to say this is the best video I’ve seen. The fact that you were able to pull this off on such a huge scale is amazing. Most of the time I’m left wanting when it comes to base building videos, because it almost always ends before you have a chance to defend a raid. Very cool that you had such a wide range of interactions. Looting, building, pvp, player interactions. Truly, great freaking job with this. I don’t even play DayZ.
