Ep 7: My Deer Friends and New Fawns! :-) Summer 2017

About 2 1/2 years ago, I started rolling an occasional apple to some of the deer from 100' away. Eventually, some of them got closer. It took a while (along with corn and apples), but a year ago, Elly came right up to me. Since then, she and a number of others have become quite trusting of me. Last year, the moms brought their fawns up to meet me when they were about 4-5 months old. This year, they brought them up at 5-6 weeks old. I feel very priviledged that they do this.
My deer friends don't trust or go near humans....but they go near me (lol). I haven't become one of the herd. I am just something that they can trust.

This man has created a little patch of paradise for himself and these animals. This is what God intended in the garden of Eden, that man and animals be friends with one another. This man is gifted. He is kind and patient. I would love to be in his world for an HOUR.

One of the sweetest animal videos I've ever seen. And as amazing as this little fawn and her Papa Dog was, the patience and love you showed in caring for her is heartwarming and something I'll never forget.
