Something surreal about seeing a car with German plates, German emissions sticker, and a Swiss highway toll sticker in front of the New York skyline. Pretty cool!
-
I actually really like the look of this vehicle. I hope the design comes to production cars.

The whole 'gamification of efficiency' absolutely works. When people see numbers that tell them they're doing well, they like that and try to improve them. Especially if it gives a tangible advantage, like extra range, and a lower cost.
-
Something marvelous about the fact that when you design a car around efficiency, it turns out particularly beautiful.
-
I really like this car. I hope every car manufacturer has an all out efficiency version of their electric cars.
-
i imagine the registration plates would mess up the aero dynamics of it

Beautiful concept. Hope they're able to bring some of that to the road someday. As for Aptera, it has a 0.13 drag coefficient and will provide up to 40 miles of driving range on solar alone (full solar package) on a sunny day. So, if you live somewhere sunny, like Florida, and you commute/drive less than 40 miles per day, you could effectively almost never have to charge the car. Of course, for longer trips it's a different story, but it's only when you get drag coefficients this low that solar is able to really contribute anything. And I think it's great that they're using solar on cars like these. It makes sense. Why not use the free energy on a platform like this where it'll actually matter?

Hope Marques gets to review the Aptera when it comes out. It will also be capable of reaching ~1000 miles of range!

This is pretty dope. Won't mind it being a daily driver. Can't imagine how much this would cost if it was mass produced though.
-
The design is gorgeous, it has a strong 50s vibe to it. It's soooo much better than the ungainly EQS. I hope this will be the next gen EQS
-
I think this car is absolutely stunning. There is nothing more beautiful than functional design
-
Marques, would be awesome if you covered the upcoming Aptera solar EV. With a drag coefficient of .13 it gets 10 miles per kwh
-
It actually looks pretty nice, its not an ugly Crossover SUV EV
-
This car, even though the shape is designed with more restrictions, still makes me really want to spend money for it: the way it looks is just amazing
-
You mentioned the Aptera, but it actually has a lower coefficient of air at just 0.13 and will do over 1000 miles on a full charge. It to is a prototype as is the EQXX, so it should hold the title of Worlds most efficient car. When either of these goes into production, then that title will change! I really like your videos! Keep up the great reviews.

AutoFocus videos are always a great experience. Thanks MKB and Mercedes!

As an aviator it was interesting to see how they have taken a lot of the science behind the design and efficiency of an airplane and implemented them. They even implemented a “Wind” indicator which in aviation essentially would be our airspeed indicator. Pretty cool stuff
-
Fun fact: the license plate number contained "EQ1010", which perfectly translates to EQXX.
-
Beyond the car, your presentation was top notch! Thanks!

I’m impressed that you were able to get this for review!
