As an American that immigrated to Alberta for work (RN employed at university of alberta hospital in Edmonton). Jasper was my favorite area. Literally one of the Most Beautiful places on earth. My heart hurts for the Wonderful Canadians living there over this devastating Fire.

When I was 16 we took a family vacation to Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper. I’m 78 now, and I’ve never forgotten that trip. I’ve been many places in various parts of the world, but I’ve never been anywhere more beautiful than Jasper. Unforgettable area. My heart breaks for the people of Alberta and for the forest wildlife as well.
