  • I would already be gone.Camp Fire traveled 20 miles in less than one hour.
  • @kurzification
And this is why we don’t let 2 time felons out of jail. Now he’s a three time felon, and will should spend life in prison or worse. Could have been prevented if our legal system (especially California) weren’t so soft on crime.
  • So the gentleman talking at 4 min went through the Camp fire, yet behind him is 6' tall weeds that should have been cut down 2 months ago. The people up in Magalia that lost 1/2 the town up there didn't learn either. trees around and up against their homes still remain

this cooler weather came a day too late for Jasper AB, I hope it carries on and helps you all fight this monster.
  • I have my bags packed already I'm about 10 smaller zones away about 30 minutes away
  • @scotimotti
    Never name a town Paradise....its a curse.
  • just a little too chipper about the weather considering the segment you're opening
  • I again will say. I lived in this area for 25 years. The earth firsters need to allow the government to clear the underbrush. These fires wouldn’t be near as bad.
  • @Mrbfgray
"Disbelief that it could happen again." Really!? That was your takeaway?? Paradise was always a tinderbox in wait of a spark and right past the burned out zones much of it is STILL completely unprepared.

ALL OF THIS LOSS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. Was there no one who could have stopped it?
  • @eli84360
The fire isnt even close to paradise. It hasn't jumped 32
  • I'm not leaving again,I have my hose water pump and my dog Rusty we are too old to rebuild, you tell them pilots to drop right on me right on my LZ I painted on my roof.
  • 'I can't believe it could happen again''. That's the height of ignorance!
