" This is Minecraft " " So what are we supposed to do " " Nothing, really, it's your world, you can do what you want " " That sounds boring, no quests, no missions " " ... " * (2 minutes later) * " What if we built a giant castle on top of that mountain.. " " Now you get it "

Biggest mistakes of your life: 1- Having deleted your first minecraft world
  • Turning 18 in a few hours, gonna spend the last few listening and remembering my favourite childhood games. Good times Edit: I am now 19, my 18th year flew by and has been great, thank you everyone for the continued happy birthdays!

You never quit Minecraft you just take a break from it. Regardless of how long your break from it is, you always come back to it and it feels like you never left.
  • "wanna build a castle tomorrow?" "sure dude" last online 3 hours ago because people still play this game

What an absolute masterpiece of a game. Personally, I have never felt this emotional and nostalgic about a game ever. So many memories, so many minigames, so many unfinished build projects, so many online strangers that suddenly vanished, so many diamond celebrations, so many relationships built, oh my. Time really flies by so fast, you don't even realize the memories you are making. You never really know when you are gonna place that last block, you never know when your friends would come back, you really never know when, and when I say when, when you ever will forget the childhood this game gave to us all. I say thank you, Minecraft. You truly never failed to give me a childhood I will hold deeply close to my heart. Thanks to anyone who read it all. This comment won't be seen much in the flood of 17k comments. Please, have a wonderful rest of your day.
  • This is probably the most wholesome comment section in all of YouTube. No controversy, no hate, just people sharing their childhood memories

2012: how do I turn this off 2019: how do I turn this back on

Wow. I miss middle school when the only thing on my plate was school. And I could stay up and play minecraft with my friends as late as I wanted. Planning how we were gonna kill the ender dragon, tryna build Redstone contraptions and laughing when they didint work, strip mining while talking about whatever little trivial middle school stuff was on our minds, i thought I would be friends with them forever. I talk to none of those people anymore, they all moved away or we lost contact somewhere through the years. I was so happy then. What happened.

I remember when I was young... we used to have a space under my brother's bunk bed with a tv and an xbox. Whenever my mom would start screaming we could hide under there, put on our headphones and play minecraft together. One of the last good memories I have. Please never delete this, thank you for making it.

$20 is a small price to pay for a childhood.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a dirt hut or a diamond mansion, as long as the furnace is next to the crafting table, it’s a home.

We all gotta make our kids play Minecraft and make worlds with them Agreed?

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Unknown The quote at the end of Minecraft
  • I remember my dad used to be a heavy call of duty player but when I got Minecraft I got him to play with me and he ended up loving the game so much he made these massive worlds in creative and we did hardcore survival worlds together until he died from brain cancer Love you Randy

To all those countless minecraft friends I lost to time, year after year and derver after server.... I hope you're all well, and miss many of you. I only wish we had found ways to stay in contact back then. Either way, I wish you all only the very best lives <3
