I WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR. This video has to do strictly with the FIFA corruptions, proven migrant worker deaths in the thousands, and racketeering. This has nothing to do with an Arab country hosting. Without the bribes and deaths, Qatar could have been the greatest host yet. If this happened in the West, it too deserves scrutiny. Period.

I actually wrote my college senior thesis this past year on the infrastructure development of the world cup stadiums in Qatar to investigate Fifa and Qatar’s responsibility for the migrant worker deaths and treatment. This was a very digestible way to explain it to people, nice work!

I think for future World Cups, FIFA needs to do them in places where football is already the number one sport of the country/region. So that way the stadiums don’t get abandoned. A Central American World Cup would be awesome.

Great video! This doesn’t even touch the fact that Qatar has very draconian Laws in place that are hostile to international fans (illegal to drink alcohol/share hotel room with anyone other than your wife/be homosexual) adding to ones perplexity as to why they were even considered as hosts in the first place! Especially considering that FIFA have been involved with efforts to make football available to everyone.
