Foreign ministers from Australia, India, Japan and the United States said on Monday that they were concerned about dangerous manoeuvres in the South China Sea & promised to bolster maritime security in the region.

The joint statement came after talks between the 'Quad' countries in Tokyo, attended by Australia's Penny Wong, India's Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Japan's Yoko Kamikawa and Antony Blinken from the U.S.
'We are seriously concerned about the situation in the East and South China Seas and reiterate our strong opposition to any unilateral actions that seek to change the status quo by force or coercion,' Ministers said in a joint statement

  • What is the relation of Venezuela elections with QUAD. Can't the USA live without poking in other countries internal affairs?
  • This kind of words Blinken said from taking office to now.😂
  • And he is not equally concern with his fellow American at home struggling??? This is a slap in the fast for every single American where our government moved foreign interest a lot faster through the process, then the American interest with excuse and nothing resolved.
  • India should allow US troops to operate freely in India like Japan and South Korea
  • 😂 as an indian , i'm quite perplexed about indian diplomacy. We are quite a chameleon in international affairs. Well , for the least we improved our rank in recent years on diplomacy and soft power

The 3 stooges of US. After US 2024 election, Blinken will be back to his guitar
  • His intention not good, daal mein kuch kaala hai. US interference in election, US made weapons found in terrorist hand in recent terrorist attacks in jammu area, US interference in creating a Christian nation in north east india called kuki land taking Bangladesh and mymar parts too, very good relationship of fm with US

All of the ASEAN & South East Asian nations which are likeminded democracies have express their support for The Quad on concerns over China's disregard of the rule of law which is the UN-CLOS law of the seas. There has to be a balance of power, freedom of navigation & the rights of sovereign waters of which China today continue to violate. Beijing's massive claim on the entire South East Asia & the Indo-Pacific waters goes against an established sea codes. China has to be held accountable for all it's maritime violations. Setting restrictions of naval passage & overflight, installing military bases & artificial islands on trade routes & the false claim of marine & energy resources on what's supposed to be international waters & sovereign EEZ can never be hid under the rag.
  • The QUAD should turn into a military alliance together with South korea, Phillipines, Singapore and Indonesia.
  • Remarkable improvement by adding word serious to concern 👏👏👏 US pushed Europe and Middle East into war... Though US is needed to counterbalance China... Overdependence on US would make Asia's fate like Europe, while US is totally safe far away
  • All of them have big problem's at home: Poverty stealing drug gun violence you name it: But they can't talk about that SHAMEFUL.
  • 来吧,谁在乎呢?无所畏惧,4个一起上也就那么回事!
