This Seemingly Harmless Item Does INSANE DAMAGE
First up is how to weaponize Selune’s Seal! This chest deals 3-24 radiant damage to any heretics that touch it. And to get all your enemies to try to open it and take damage, all you need to do is head to the Owlbear cave as a cleric of selune. This allows you to pick it up and add it to your inventory. From there, head to a group of enemies you want to defeat, where there is also a trader nearby. Then, sell the Gilded Chest to the trader - use improvised weapon to pick up the trader and move him far away from everyone else - use an elixir of hill giant strength since your strength is too low as a cleric. And then pickpocket the chest back from him. Now it’s not your property and you can drop it right in the center of town and watch the fireworks as one by one they will try to pick it up. If any of them succeed the saving throw, just move the chest a little and they’ll start trying to pick it up again.

This Amulet is Secretly Overpowered (Advantage on Intelligence Saving Throws)
Use this Amulet to nearly guarantee success at making your illithid powers cost a bonus action instead of an action! This amulet is the Aberration Hunter’s Amulet and when equipped by a Githyanki - or any race disguised as a Githyanki - you can use this to nearly guarantee you succeed in getting the Awakened Permanent Condition from the Zaithisk in the Githyanki Creche. In order to get the awakened condition, you need to pass 3 Saving Throws. The first one is a DC 12 Intelligence Saving Throw, the second one is a DC 15 saving throw, and the last one you have a choice of either a Constitution, Intelligence, or a class-specific Saving Throw. So by equipping the Aberration Hunter’s Amulet and disguising as a Githyanki, you can gain Advantage on Intelligence Saving Throws. That means 2 of the 3 saving throws to get Awakened you’ll have advantage on, giving you a much higher chance at success and it’s important since Awakened is one of the best permanent conditions in Baldur’s Gate 3. And in order to get this amulet all you need to do is loot it off the corpse of Ghustil Stornugoss the Principle Healer of Creche Y’llek - the githyanki right next to the Zaithisk.

Perform on ANY Class
Next up - did you know any character can use the Perform action while they have an instrument equipped? That’s right, no need to be a bard or help Alfira come up with a song to earn the ability to perform. However, if you perform without Musical Instrument proficiency, then you will not be able to play well - you’ll even get a condition called Poor Performance. And that doesn’t just mean you won’t get any coin for performing, it also means you’ll drive everyone around you crazy. At camp your pets will howl and growl and run away, and you’ll get comments and insults such as offers to pay you to STOP playing and you can even get rocks thrown at you that deal bludgeoning damage. So be careful if you don’t have musical instrument proficiency and you try performing.

Newly Discovered Permanent Buff!
And next up is a newly discovered permanent buff which makes you unable to be knocked prone or moved against your will - that means you can’t be shoved, or be pushed back by spells such as thunderwave. This is amazing for traversing the secret chamber to retrieve the blood of lathander, and generally just great if you’re melee or enjoy standing on the edge of cliffs.

The Indiana Jones trick with the Amulet of Greater Health can also be used to steal the Necromancy of Thay book.

The Justiciar's Scimitar lost its required scimitar proficiency, because Shadowheart couldn't use it. This literally just happened a short while ago. Shadowheart talks all the time about wanting to become a Justiciar. But then you find this blade and she can't use it as a pure Cleric (canonically). So they decided to just drop that part so she, and everyone, can use it.
  • @DevicCypher
That part with the chicken is inaccurate. I always visit the owl bear cave first and still always can get the chicken to be there.
  • Thanks for the video. I read that the Justiciar's Scimitar lost its proficiency prerequisite, because storywise it suits Shadowheart perfectly, but she doesn't originally have the Scimitar proficiency. Sorry if someone already posted this.
  • The [Adamantine Scimitar] doesn't just apply the (ignores slashing damage resistance) to the weapon in your off-hand, but also to all slashing weapons in your inventory. Even throwing the [Comeback Handaxe] from your inventory will still allow it to ignore slashing resistance, despite not having needed to equip it.

12:00 - For people who don't mind a bit of cheese, you can get the effect of these boots for free by having a wizard and cleric in your camp cast them on all of your party members after each long rest.

There are more portraits to find from DOS2. Red Prince, Ifan, Fane, Lohse, Sebil and Beast.
  • I tried acquiring the MANSCAPED buff, but they told me it was a microtransaction. I thought this game didn't have any.
  • @HarryHorsemin
You are incorrect about the “Hidden Lamp of Disappointment”. It most certainly shows up more than only right there. Although I know it’s in more places in act 3, I can’t remember off of the top of my head. I am however able to say with confidence that there’s also a disappointing lamp in the back of the Zhentarim hideout in one of the locked rooms all the way in act 1
  • @Siven80
Selune chest and Boots of striding are obviously glitches, certainly not a secret permanent buff. Song of rest is definately a bug too

4:39 The drawback to this is that you need to have Medium Armor Proficiency in order to get this buff, since if you don't, equipping the boots will prevent you from casting spells. I tried getting around this by giving Gale and Tav the Moderately Armored feat, doing the thing, and respeccing them; but it looks like respeccing removes the buff, which is a shame because they're the ones that could have really used it, but I can't really afford to sacrifice a Feat on them.
  • @pizzacational
Roah also restocks the hunter's dagger so there's two nonunique weapons.
  • @Kong-kg6ij
The problem with the aberration hunter's amulet is you can't interact with the zathisic when you kill the gith.
  • @jesusfrreak2
Highly recommend an Orpheus aligned gith playthrough, it feels like the game is designed around it when you do it
  • The spell might gloves are also awesome for an Eldritch blast build
  • @mbra8228
this game never stops to amaze me
  • @Idk-jc8tk
I just lost my honor mode to Ansur cuz I got complacent, I'm not crying you’re crying shaddup!
