There's Something About Knuckles (Part 3)

I like this version of Knuckles. The fact that he actually still cares for his friends and this city is heart warming!❤️

I think Knuckles has that tough love for the gang because while he does care about them, he wants them to be able to fend for themselves just in case of an emergency. I’m glad he does care deeply. That cliffhanger though too really leaves the suspense on how Tails will tell the others about what actually happened. This is pretty good story telling

I believe Tail's hesitation to go after the Kaiju is to make sure it's not his idea, but Knuckles's idea to kill sonic. It's not a matter of him wanting to protect sonic, it's about accountability. He's making sure it's clear to everyone that it was Knuckles's idea to kill sonic, not his. That's Tails's way of creating guilt, loss of faith and trust in Knuckles, and overall chaos after Knuckles defeats the Kaiju. That's what I came up with anyways.

I’m half expecting the major twist to be that this still is this universe’s Tails, and the one we’re all worried about is actually causing the voices in Knuck’s head.

The revelation that Tails never told anybody what he disclosed to Knuckles, and that Knuckles sounded like he wanted to twist the boy's arm to make him say it is gut wrenching. Because this means, by holding back information relevant to situation, he effectively accounts for the graveyards of lives lost to the monster that used to be their teammate. So yeah, Knuckles has every right to be pissed off with Tails at this point, essentially since he basically tried to sweep it under the rug like a coward. To give the devil his due, Considering Sonic and the monster are one and the same now, he may as well BE dead. But implied death is not confirmed death, and the massacre we see in this series speaks for itself Admittedly, the sight of Knuckles calling Tails out and sticking up for his teammates is refreshing rather than the vigilant loner he usually is...and this guy is having NONE of Tails' BS. Just Wow.

The amount of professionalism and skill at work here is mind boggling. This could easily be a full animated show its just that good. Absolutely stunning

Love how you can already see Tails playing both sides again. He plants the idea in Knuckles' mind that the Kaiju has to die, pushing him to even be willing to kill Sonic. But when Knuckles falls in line with that idea, immediately Tails pulls back a little, telling him they can't do it yet, making it seem like it's Knuckles' idea to kill the Kaiju.

That barrage of angst from Knuckles is just what Tails wanted. Fell for it hook, line, and sinker

Something that I find interesting is in the episode before this, tails seemed insistent on having to kill the Kaiju (or in this case, “sonic”) only now to be hesitant to try and kill it now that it’s weak, and while we know that events likely transpired between the last episode and what we see here, it doesn’t seem like tails was that involved, showing up right before the Kaiju runs away, and compared to knuckles and Amy’s suits, lacking in any battle damage (yes, the same can be said for big, cream, and blaze, but in the last episode tails was with knuckles when the Kaiju started approaching the city) And while this could be chalked up to tails thinking that in their current state they can’t go after the Kaiju and win, another possibility is maybe, like with TSAA, the tails in this episode isn’t the same as the one from the last episode

It seems that Knuckles' "voices" in his head are not only doubts of himself, but doubts of others. He seemed more focused on the kaiju until his "voice" pointed out the fact that Tails wanted to protect it, doubting his loyalty to the protection of the city. Anyways, the animation and voice acting on this is actually amazing, great work!

Okay but that shot of Amy coming out of nowhere and Knuckles not even looking just holding out the hammer like "Here" is honestly a great shot

Gotta say this is getting better and better by the minute. Whoever thinks of these is truly a phenomenal story teller. The animation here is totally bonkers too. I love everything about this. Idk who was in the knuckles mech but if it’s Mighty honestly not a bad replacement. Edit: Oh wait was it blaze? My bad

the fact that cream my favourite character in sonic franchise even gets mentioned here keeps my heart warm knowing that someone remembers she exists

I thought Tails was gonna start smiling and laughing after Knuckles finished his speech

"Bloody hell, three weeks?!" Seriously, it's amazing how quickly this stuff is pumped out, yet the quality has stayed consistently high! Good work all around, I only hope working this hard and fast doesn't burn out everyone who works on these.

Secrets: When you see the civilians flee, you can see a child crying, holding a white wisp toy. The guards fire off projectiles that look like the drill wisps. Big holds a pillow of Froggy, possibly since he died and Big needs to cope with the trauma. The Sonikaiju escapes slightly faster than last time, implying the team actually tried, even with broken mechs. Blaze was the one piloting R.E.D. It contradicts the theory that Blaze and Silver died, and had their faces put onto P.I.N.K's cannons. My theory: Tails in the Mecheval universe is not evil. There are specific types of Tails, and it was only the Insane Tails that went evil as far as we know.

dude, this series is possibly the best, most well animated, and best storytelling series ive ever seen, im dying to see more

I seriously love this Amy, I already said in the 1st part that I don't use to like changes in the characters (even for fanfictions) but I really think that this personality suits her. I think all the main characters still the same (80-90%).... except Amy and I appreciate it.

I like to imagine that sonic is conscious in the monster and just wants to return to the village
