For anyone that’s confused about the story, the boy just broke up with his girlfriend because she cheated on him, and the girl’s husband died in a car crash. “Baggage” represents the troubles they went through in the past that are messing with their relationship. The girl was crying in the bathroom because of her past and the boy was there to comfort her. They both let go of their baggage and lived on together

I just realized that because her husband had a ticket for the same trip, assuming they were going to sit next to each other, they gave up his seat, meaning this guy literally took her husbands place.

If you notice, the characters eyes look like people signifying they’re trapped, and the “I’m breaking free” gives a whole new meaning

The song is so good but can we talk more about the art style? Look at the scenes where she’s wearing low cut shirts, tank tops, or just a towel. Look at how she isn’t being sexualized. So many music videos with women, especially the few that are animated, have the female characters ridiculously exaggerated. She isn’t. It’s small but I love it
