  • Sometimes I feel it's weird to feel such affection for someone you'll never meet, but I love Jean-Pierre!
  • I'm a builder with hobby interest i building cars, I've never cooked anything more than toast but I love this channel. I cooked for my wife on her birthday the chicken with lemon sauce and it was edible, even tasty but the look on her face was priceless as she clearly expected disaster and got something nice.
  • I've never watched this chef before, but that's about to change. I love this man's vibe. Plus he keeps it simple, "even a child can do it". Very informative, love learning some of the techniques, and time saving tips.
  • I’ve been a chef for 20 years now and I’m still learning from you.. they say you never stop learning in the kitchen.
  • @LilSeizures
I love how Chef says with his unique additional ingredients "don't have it? don't worry just don't put it"
  • Jean-Pierre is a natural mentor with a wonderful teaching method and a lifetime of cooking experience, what a wonderful human being
  • @AKM99733
Who could not enjoy him talking the whole time? He has such a sincere wonderful personality. I love his recipes and his show. Keep it up Chef, we love you.

This man needs to become an UNESCO World Heritage! :D Absolutely amazing content and i´ve probably never laughed myself to tears while watching a chef show his favorite recipies. Much love!
  • This is AWESOME. This is one of the many reasons why I love Chef JP so much - he doesn't just tell us the recipe or show us how to do something; he explains WHY we are doing things. A video like this is especially cool because it is prioritizing which dishes on the channel might be best for learning some of the most important techniques we'll use in the kitchen. Really, really love stuff like this. Maybe it's just me, but I often find myself sticking to certain kinds of dishes unless I really make a specific effort to try something different. Having a list like this to try out is GREAT!
  • I've never seen this chef before, but he is amazing. My meals always come out a bit off, and watching him, I realize I know how to cook my recepies, I've just been letting new people out there influence how I cook. But all the tips and tricks he talks about are things my grandma taught me that I've stopped doing because of online bloggers and stuff. His tips, straight to the point, easy to follow instructions have made me subscribe. Found myself a new channel. Thank you.
  • @O2islife
I’ve just been watching this gentleman’s videos for a few months, I just love his style. He’s not a snob chef saying you have to do it a precise way. Got a great deal of ideas from him. I love cooking for my family and he’s made me a better home cook. I am going to do his stuffed pork tenderloin..looks absolutely delicious 😃
  • @knash97

This video popped up because I watch a lot of cooking shows. I’m soooo happy that it did! I not only learned new delicious looking recipes and great techniques, I also laughed so much at your funny sense of humour! A natural charm, unrehearsed that is as refreshing as your amazing recipes! I truly enjoyed watching and have subscribed to your channel, merci infiniment Chef Jean-Pierre!
  • You not only educate, you entertain. You never fail to make me laugh. Thank you for being yourself ❤️
  • @ajaded1
The biggest thing I learned from Chef is caramelizing onions for a braise. I used to add the onions in with the other vegetables at the same time when making a stew or chili and just sweating them. Caramelizing the onions adds a subtle depth of flavor to any braise. I will always take that extra step now. Thanks, chef.
  • @fifisuki1876
43 seconds in and already I am smiling because of your enthusiasm and 'fun' character... Thank you for this video (in anticipation)

What a chef !!!!!! Takes all the nonsense out, explains how easy things are to do and gets even me enjoying experimenting in the kitchen - these vids NEVER get old. Brilliant
