I've got to experience life in Lovozero village on Kola peninsula during a snowstorm and to take part in mass diving in the ice hole. Quite an adventure to dive in subzero water in the Russian Arctic!

I live in Texas. In the urban areas if we see clouds that might have ice in them, everything shuts down. Life on the farm or ranch in the rural areas are different. One has to take care of the land and animals, usually before one's self. I love your Vlogs. Seeing the real Russia through your eyes and giving your followers a view of the Russian people that silences the "Hollywood" stereotype.

Your Videos blows out all the other Russian Youtubers videos about Russia. You put a lot of work and dedication. It's just amazing.

Thank you for educating the US regarding Russia. Really enjoy your videos.

You are an excellent producer Eli! My 88 year old Norwegian Grandmother and I just watched a few of your videos. Dignified and beautiful Women showing us your adventurous sides with positivity and professionalism. My back aches a bit from the last few snowstorms here in northern Wisconsin, but your portrayal of the snow and wind there make me feel thankful about the 15 inches or snow that we have now, and the shoveling of snow. I am the same way when snowstorms come. It’s fun to get out and brave the weather. I see beauty in those areas of the arctic. From the gracious people to the cheery and happy dogs! God bless you and your families!
  • Looks exactly like everyday life in the north of Sweden where we also usually have down to -40°C degrees and snow for 8 months a year. Only difference is that our houses look a bit different but we use the same machines, have the same approach to winter go ice bathing and have reindeers. Just imagine all that in Swedish language! 😉

I wish for peace between our countries so that we too can experience the beauty of Russia some day. For now, I will watch your videos. Thank you for sharing with us all. I live in Tennessee and we only see snow a few times a year and a snow like in your video would cripple our cities. 💗

Most people may think that cold and dark Winter is depressing. But not in a video from Eli ! You had so much fun and you are beaming so much happiness in your videos. It is simply amazing and I love it. We used to cope quite well with snowstorms in Germany 30 years ago. But technology became more and more advanced and at the same time more fragile. Here in Northern Germany we hardly have any snow in Winter anymore but if it does snow for a while, public transport and other infrastructure quickly gets into trouble. Although I have never experienced shops being closed because of a snowstorm. I am afraid things will get worse with the introduction of all those electric cars. While I really like them and they are quiet and clean, electric batteries do not perform well in the cold and to make things worse, they need to use their precious power for heating as well. I am enjoying your videos a lot, so please keep them coming! Much love and best wishes from Hamburg, Germany Michael
  • What a stunninly beautiful deeply interesting country Rusdia is Thank you so much for your amazing videos, have never seen Russia like this

In Canada, snowstorms are managed the same as in Russia. Nice video! Thanks for showing!

In England, just reports that it might snow causes panic, all shops run out of food, the roads turn to stand still, everyone crashes their cars and thousands of old people die
  • I always feel like I’m watching national geographic when I watch your videos 💜 lots of love from Canada 🇨🇦 I love your channel!
  • In response to your experience of a light snow storm in America ... I am British, aged 53. I have noticed a trend over my lifetime of people becoming less able to deal with uncomfortable situations. When I was a child, we just walked to school in the snow if it snowed. Now, they declare an Emergency for it and close the schools! (Edited to add) ... many things that were in the range of "normal life" when I was a kid are now considered dangerous.
  • Love that you ventured outside of your comfort zone, thats how you grow! Thanks for sharing.
  • There's no snowfalls in our country, never seen such a snow or snowflakes. Love to watch a beautiful lady from here Mizoram, northeast India.
  • How wonderful to see the people all working and carrying on like normal as normal can be. So uplifting and beautiful. All like worker bees in harmony clearing the snows and living life. So so uplifting Eli. God Bless You
  • Russians....cold on the outside, warm hearted on the inside. Its like we say in the West.. "Cold hands, warm heart".

I’m sad to see the politics ruin the lives of so many. I hope that you and your family will be ok in this time. I love your videos and you bring out the beautiful and the real from your experiences.

In the UK there is a general panic when severe winter storms arrive, much like you describe from your visit to New York. We are always poorly prepared for severe winters. What we call a blizzard Siberians consider it to be sunbathing weather 😆
