Season 3 isn’t perfect but it’s still pure Star Wars. Seems like most ppl wanted a Mando and baby yoga storyline so that’s why ppl are mixed on this season. Excited for season 4 tho 💯💯💯

This 100% felt like an episode George Lucas would''ve created for The Clone Wars just pure wackiness and strange almost feeling like an episode of Doctor Who or a scene from a Judge Dredd comic, yes Judge Dredd universe of 2000AD is extremally wacky and silly in the comics while also being gritty and brutal. The Droids story arc from Clone Wars is a fav of Lucas so his taste is pretty interesting and not one a lot of Star Wars fans share with how many people dislike the Droids arc. So naturally this episode has gotten alot of hate online for being too outlandish to an argument I do agree on being a little too filler when we only have two episodes left. I personally would've preferred this episode very on in a season with 10+ episodes so there's room for more fun filler stuff so hopefully the final episodes are good.

I loved the clone wars vibe of this!

Wasnt there a bounty on a Mon Calamari prince in season 1 episode 3? When Din returned to Nevaroo with Grogu?

I am surprised that you didn't mention Lizzo was in the episode. The Mon Calamari prince from the Clone Wars died around roughly 18 BBY, this is a different prince.

By the way, the Mon Calamari Prince was played by Harry Holland. Tom Holland's brother. And it is a different Prince. Prince Lee Char died shortly after the Battle of Yavin.

@CinePals, 21:19 Well, the story isn't yet finished and we probably aren't supposed to know that just yet, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. That said, this story showed us two people bounding, two people who will likely lead Mandalore together; Din and Bo-Katan are two sides of the same coin them coming together is just more symbolism of Mandalore finally coming together after since before it fracture sometime during the Clone Wars, nearly 50 years ago. Personally I think this episode really showed two people with very different experiences with droids. Do you remember Din's childhood? His parents were killed by droids. He hated droids, until IG11 saved his life, and even after that he was still a bit skittish around them and we saw that here when they arrived on the planet. Bo-Katan used droids on Mandalore and in her palace, remember? She didn't have anything against droids in general, but the ones the separatist used against her and Mandalore, however, are a different story. She played good cop in this story because of her past experience with droids, and Din played bad cop because of his past experience with them, IMHO. This episode is also growing the Star Wars universe that we will see elsewhere, so a good chunk of this is setup for things to come down the road in Bad Batch, Ahsoka's show or some other unannounced future project. I'd stay focused on the Mandalorian parts as that's present. Din and Bo-Katan are together. Bo-Katan has made piece with Children of the Watch and she's earned the respect of the forces she lost. She's pulling everyone together as the Armor said she would. The question is, will she also bring Boba Fett into the fold? He didn't seem too pleased with how things turned out on Tatooine. Ruling as he is now, just might not be his thing.

I said it before when Bo-Katan saved Din and I’ll say it again, ALL HAIL QUEEN BO-KATAN KRYZE!!!! She needed to fall out of favor with her fleet because she needed to go back to her roots on Mandalore as well as spend time with the Children Of The Watch to completely rethink what it means to truly be Mandalorian. The Armorer was very wise when she said that Bo-Katan can walk both worlds, she can TRULY unite her people and finally take back their homeworld. And Lizzo was great, but freaking JACK BLACK and CHRISTOPHER LLOYD! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯These men were such a massive part of my childhood. Also I’m 100% for droid rights!

First the Beskar Spear and now the Darksaber; Mando Now Really needs a new Melee Weapon. {Here's to hoping when he joined back up with the covert, the Armorer restocked him with new whistling birds}. Or at least a new melee weapon along with/besides his Vibro-knife.

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't the same Mon Calamari prince, because he becomes a king in the end of that Clone wars arc, so probably this was his son

Everything is so convenient in Season 3: Remember that conflict between the creed and regular mandalorians. Well now their lead doesnt care if Bo wears a helmet. Remember BO needing the Darksaber and the tension between them?? Psych! She saved him so its hers again. No muss, no fuss

An interesting cocktail of an episode. One part CSI: Mandalorian (complete with guest stars), one part I Robot, one part "Challenging the Chief" trope... topped off with a sprinkle of fun bits; star-crossed lovers of Mon Cala, "Dooku was right," Grogu gets a cuddle, and a Kuiil call-back. We are now set up for a two-chapter season finale.

Jon Favreau really made a $15M live-action Clone Wars episode featuring Jack Black, Lizzo, Christopher Lloyd, and EPCOT Center 😂. If I were Grogu or Din, I'd be calling my agent today.

I love Star Wars. I love Blade Runner. Throw in all the cameos and I can say that I love this episode. It wasn't high art, but it was definitely art
