  • I agree with Adam that The Mandolorian probably means the people, culture and not a person. Like we say the French to cover them all.
  • It's funny what you were saying about the criticism about Din being more of a supporting character this season. One of the show runners, possibly Rick F, actually tweeted today and made it official that "The Mandalorian" is about ALL the Mandalorians, not just Din Djarin.
  • Yes, Pedro was busy shooting TLOU when principal photography was being done for this season of Mandalorian. He came in later to do the voice work. But for the vast majority of the season, it’s Lateef Crowder in the suit on camera.

Even if it's not "Do you just not like Star Wars?", a bunch of fans seem to have self-serving "This is what I want/expected from the show, and if it's not that, I will pick it apart because it wasn't those things" mentalities, or the like. And from there, they latch onto anyone who's even mildly critical - fairly or otherwise - and say "You can see what the mainstream reactors who 'blindly accept everything' cannot!", or similar. Of course, not everyone (on either side) is guilty of such things. But as a whole, a lot of the dislike/hate certainly gives off that impression imho. Particularly from those saying "this season has no storyline" (a major shift in the Mandalorians' place among the galaxy, going from outcasts to seeking a path to rebuilding their people), or more specifically, "only the last 5 minutes of Episode 6 mattered" (potentially recognizing Mandalore has a sovereign system? That's not a big deal at all; we'll ignore that /sarcasm)
  • Emily Swallow AKA The Armorer is an American actress who started out on Broadway. She is indeed gorgeous, and her refined English accent is so perfect for this character.

The imperial in season 1 gave Din the beskar, but he also gave Greef some. Add in the beskar spear in The Jedi and there is plenty reason to think the imperials had more beskar and could have left some in the derelict ship. My only question is if it was accidental or intentional.

Hector I'm so glad you finally mentioned the fact that you and Dr. Pershing look very similar lol been waiting for that call out from one of you guys 😂
  • @acereporter73
Mandalorians have that grounded appeal whereas Jedi, to a failing, can be "above it all" at times. Also, Mandalorians can be heroes outside of the major regimes (and politics). I am definitely eager for more related content about Mandalorians (games especially).
  • I appreciate and love that even if the audio of the reaction failed, you still took the time to record a reaction for us. Heroes Reforged best YT channel ever

The Armorer gets the award for Best Use of Forge Tongs.

I really appreciate y'all's intro for this video. For anyone who may think reacting involves just hooking up a few cables, throwing on headphones & talking... it's so much work. Thank you for everything, guys. It means a lot to the nerds out here who feel like we're not alone, especially on those really tough days. Rewatching with our homies makes the real world take a step back for a few minutes.

Everyone remarks about the beskar spear but seems to forget about the camtono full of Imperial stamped beskar that was featured in season one episode three. That camtono was provided by Moff Gideon and he probably got the beskar when the Empire raided Mandalore during the Purge Most likely there is more of it out there some where.
  • Hector: "This is Star Wars dude, shut up!" rants through all the parts we wanted to see him react to 🤣
  • "Don't try to stop me Smee, don't you dare try to stop me Smee, stop me Smee" -- 'Hook' is one of the best Peter Pan adaptations and hands down has the best Hook and Smee, no one does Smee like Bob Hoskins 🖤 also hell yeah Adam as Paz Vizla and Hector as Pershing, let's make that happen for next year's Celebration!!
  • @jimmast2230
"It's Star Wars dude! SHUT UP!" I couldn't have said it better myself. Glad you guys rewatched the episode and uploaded it.
  • Hector’s rant about people complaining about this season was chef’s kiss
  • @monosito59
Episodes like this where we have whole units of mandos mobilizing to fight stuff together as well as bad batch have reignited a DEEP desire for like a squad based shooter game featuring either Mandalorians or clone commandos. Such underutilized groups of characters in games of this type. Jedi are dope, but i wanna play as a MANDOOO.
  • @Aut0mati0n
Also giving Din a sports car for a ship was a great idea.
