_Assassin's Creed Mirage is the new AC game that will be released on October 12th ini 2023 and has recently been officially announced by Ubisoft. AC Mirage Takes place at peak of the golden age of the 9th Century in 861, 20 years before AC Valhalla with Baghdad being center of the world and leading in science, innovation and culture under the Assabid Caliphate.

In this gameplay trailer, you will continue to follow the journey of Basim, one of the most versatile and resourceful Assassins in franchise history. Some new features that can be seen in the gameplay trailer are the Assassin’s Focus, which allows Basim to mark and assassinate several targets in a row. You also will get classic Assassin tools such as throwing knives and smoke bombs. We also have a brand-new parkour ingredient, the Pole Vault. You can see Basim’s singular playstyle in action and the exciting Assassin playground that the city of Baghdad provides to our hero. Smoke bomb mechanic is still in Valhalla. You can deploy one by pressing Triangle or Y on your controller after parrying. It is a very forgotten skill.

Hoping the enemies are weaker then, and not some odyssey malarkey where you can die immediately sometimes, while a hoplite tanks dozens.

I am so excited for this game. This seems to be fulfilling the exact fantasy an Assassin's Creed game is supposed to fulfill. Stealth, parkour, investigations, notoriety system, assassins bureaus, pickpocketing, etc. This is it folks!
