  • This is the most helpful illustrator tutorial I could ever watch. You just made illustrator a whole lot easier for me. Thanks man, you rock.
  • @jspatricia68
Your tutorial is the most comprehensive one I've ever watched! You are such a great teacher! I do treasure the guidance you provide. Liked and subscribed! (Best regards from Indonesia)
  • Thanks for landing me smoothly into illustrator and making me feel ready to use it. I'm corel user, i wanna move to illustrator for some reason. Thank YOU!
  • 59:20 Instead of creating custom swatches with the lines, you could make the lines/abstract shape a pattern and select the option to size the pattern to the art. It behaves much better that way

This is honestly SOOOOOO good. Half an hour in and I learned so much, unbelievable.
  • Great tute, took me a little while to figure out I had to change my tool menu from Basic to Advanced... just in case anyone else can't find the tools you use in the beginning
  • Just discovered Dansky and I love his tutorials. I am learning so much more.
  • Thanks for the tutorial. A good tip for zooming in and out is ALT mouse scroll wheel. You don't need to fill a shape to make it a clipping mask - the clipping shape doesn't need a fill or a stroke. I can't get the stripy fills to work either.

I thought it was worth an hour. After spending a day pausing and watching it, this is worth a career. Will really watch again. Thank you
  • thank you for this! ♥️ your little whistles when youre silent and breathing makes me soft 🥺
  • I strongly recommend this channel to the pros and the beginners alike. I learned many new things today.
  • This is one of the best tutorials for all stages. Thanks for your effort and offering it free.
  • @kyletaylor73
Absolutely game changing! I feel like I can create almost anything in Illustrator now! Thank you so much 😊

This was one of the best Illustrator tutorials I've ever watched! I am a self-taught graphic designer, so I've got pockets of knowledge that allow me to do what I need to do, but I've also got quite a few gaps. This tutorial goes through all of the important tools without being exhausting. It filled a TON of gaps for me in about an hour!
  • @lalaneverquit
Very useful and incredible tutorial. Even after 4 years, it's still the best tutorial in 2021 and it will still be the best ever. Thank you.
  • @lielix
A spot on tutorial.... One of te best out there !!!!
  • At around 1:08:47, another way to round out that corner is to use the direct selection tool (A). Just select that specific anchor at the upper right, a circle with a dot in it's center will appear. Pull that circle 45 degrees downward opposite (in this case left), and it will start rounding that corner. How much roundness you want depends how far you pull the circle.

I was struggling to create a simple logo and now after watching this I am confident that I can create a complex one. Thank you very much!!
