They managed to sneak in both a my hero academia and dragon ball super reference. The super reference is where Venom Spider-Man did that venom arn attack and miles jumped over it like a beam and hit him. It’s not exactly the same but you know what they were thinking.

For people wondering ,the way the symbiote/Venom works is that it absorbs or copies its host abilities and further amplifies it. For instance if Venom would’ve never merged with Peter and stayed with Harry, Venom would’ve probably never turn into an abomination, although the game does hint that Peter would become exactly as Venom but this dosen’t happen in the comics, he does loose control but he never fully turned into a 5 feet tall abomination. There’s an instance in the game when harry is “agent venom” where the symbiote touches peter and copies a patterns in his suit. So after merging with Peter the symbiote literally develops a spider sense, spider strength, reflexes, in theory even smarts. So assuming the Symbiote merged with Miles he would’ve have his electric powers.

16:14 this is called TRUST, it a beautiful way to show the faith Miles has in who Peter TRULY is. And his strength of self.

At first Peter was the perfect host because he had upgraded powers and he didn’t have a disease in his body like Harry but at the end having a host that accepts you and you won’t have to constantly fight for control outweighed the fact that Peter had the healthier body.
