It's 2024 and I'm still in denial about Kobe's death. He left a legacy as great as any athlete ever has.
  • " When I retire, I don't wanna say I wish I had done more." What a legend.

1:01:37 man it’s impossible not to shed a tear when I hear you ask him “What will we see from you the next 20 years?” and hear him lay out his plan.. may he rest in peace and God bless his family
  • @erickperez1833
Kobe is such an intelligent man I could listen to him talk basketball and about life all day
  • @wsl3119
Felt pain in my chest when he said “I will do more in the next 20 years.” We didn’t just lose a super basketball athlete.....we lost so much more. I finally got Kobe’s autographed jersey for my kids, remind them what hard work is!
  • @ronnie1653
Still in disbelief I got to see this in-person in 2019. This is my FIRST time I am able to watch this. I am ready to make 2024 the greatest year of my LIFE! Thank you PBD for putting that event together!🙏🏼#KobeYear
  • @FMNexus_
I cry everytime I replay this. He was truly one of the greatest of all time. RIP KOBE.
  • The more I listen to Kobe talking, the more frustrating it gets. He was so sharp and had so much wisdom and experience. With his mindset and principles, he would have been just as successful in the second phase of his life. He reminds me a bit of Arnold Schwarzenegger and the journey he had. They were both perfectionists in their craft. Kobe seemed to have been an amazing teacher as well, with so much knowledge to share with not only basketball players but to people from all walks of life. As fans of basketball, we lost an irreplaceable link between the era of Jordan, Magic and Bird and today's generation. I hope players of today continue to apply what he was able to pass on, and continue studying him, his obsessive attention to detail, will to win and his will to be the very best he could become. This is something applicable to us all, regardless of what our craft or passion might be. A great man, who had so much more left to show and inspire us with, and who left us far too soon. RIP to those who lost their lives in the crash.

His dedication and the maturity of his mind and level of thinking at 13 is galaxies ahead of most people at their peak. Incredible! We miss you Kobe!
