I think it's kind of symbolic, having the "Sonata of Awakening" at the end of an album titled "Zelda and Sleep." It's like the entire album is a good dream you never want to wake from, but you have to anyway and face the real world. But you know that the rest you had was well deserved and will strengthen you through your daily challenges. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

This is honestly almost too much for me... wow, music is so powerful. I miss it all so SO much. I played Ocarina of Time at the perfect point in my life... I was 12, living in the mountains with my grandparents, in my own little version of Kokiri Forest. I had a friend who loved the game as much as I did and we played the game together all the time. As I got older, for some silly reason, I always imagined what it would be like to enjoy that game with a girlfriend. I was lucky enough to get the chance. I was so blown away when she told me her favorite game ever was Majora's Mask, which I'd never played. We played through both games together and I cherished those moments with her. I'm tearing up as I type this, because neither of those people are still in my life, but this music is a comforting reminder of those times... and a powerful statement about how great these games were. I so much hate dwelling in the past... but this makes me wish I could travel back.

I have not played a single Zelda game in my entire life. But when I accidentally stumbled on this playlist, it felt like I had found peace. Thank you so much

My grandparents got me into Zelda when I was around 3. I'll never forget them hooking up the NES in my old apartment so we could play the og Zelda, one of the first games I ever played. Here I am 16 yrs later in my college library reading while listening to this album. My Switch is in a totk themed case with a Skyward Sword cartridge that's tucked away in my backpack alongside my chair. Sometimes things don't ever have to change. Music truly is the closest thing we have to a time machine.

I use this music to put my toddlers to sleep. Passing my childhood, onto theirs.

I learned how to read playing the legend of Zelda with my mom. We played wind Waker together for the last time recently. I love you mom. I’m so sorry.
