It’s amazing how RMC was able to keep the General layout while adding all of the awesome elements that make Steel Vengeance special. I know some RMC’s like Twisted Colossus removed half of the old ride

I miss the mean streak because it was part of my childhood, but holy hell, the steel vengeance is the most incredible roller coaster I've EVER been on.

Everyone is complaining about the roughness of this ride. I'm going to cedar point tomorrow for the first time, yay! But with my history of wooden coasters, I LOVE the roughness!!!! I think it adds to the excitement!!

My second favorite woodie of all time. My all time favorite is just a few hours south...the almighty Beast at Kings Island. Born at raised in Ohio, and for the most part our state is boring as hell. But you want coasters...we got 'em all! We hold the two greatest amusement parks in the entire world. You want theatrics, go to a Disney park in Florida or California. You wanna scream your head off on the world's greatest roller coasters, get your butt to Ohio.

I remember this ride. Already rode Steel Vengeance once. 100 times better than Mean Streak!
  • @Feuerfr3i
It's truly amazing how Steel Vengeance pays homage to what this ride did. Some of the lines are nearly identical.
  • Tbh I'm glad they redid mean streak into a rmc ride. Cant wait to ride it!

I LOVED MEAN STREAK!!! I will miss the old version but I am excited for the new hybrid RNC version.  I will never forget my first ride, I was with my best friend, the puke piles on the sides at the end were the best part, "it got em man! it got em!" Wood had such a great feel that people don't appreciate these days!
  • I have mixed emotions about Mean Streak being gone. I loved the mean streak and I love steel vengeance but this video made me realize how much I miss it

Y'all complaining about the roughness must have gone on a bad day. This is one of my favorite wooden coasters, up there with The Beast, The Voyage, and Thunderhead. Very creative design and the roughness is better than average for a woodie and easily neutralized. Haters gonna hate, Mean Streak, I'll always love you!
  • @MestizoFilipino
I rode this about a week ago.. I really enjoyed it. It was an aggressive ride, but it wasn't painful like it was when I rode it the time before!
  • @kellysheehy4484
I went on this right when it started to pour, and you couldn't see anything, this ride had some good memories!
  • @johnfoltz8183
I want to go on something more thrilling than Trim Brake: The Ride.
  • @coxscorner
I rode this on 3 different trips to Ohio's Cedar Point. Once the ride was down and then I saw it go over a hill in a test and quickly got in line with my friend and rode it 3 times in a row before anyone knew it was open. I loved Mean Streak. I havent rode Steel Vengeance yet but need to plan a trip if everything opens up this summer.
  • @TheStookers
I can remember the headache you would get after riding the Mean Streak. LOL
