  • My wife, Karen, died ten years ago and today would have been her 67th birthday. Playing this brings back the memories. Karen adored Pink Floyd and one of the best things I ever did as a surprise was buy two tickets for one of the Earl's Court, Division Bell concerts. Couldn't get a ticket without it being part of a coach from Wolverhampton package, I paid over the odds for two tickets and placed them in an envelope, cellotaping this to the patio window. From the lounge I said that something was in the garden and could she see what it was. Her delighted scream will stay with me forever, as will the concert. For you Karen - Shine on your crazy diamond. I love you still.

People say this song is overrated. Yes, a masterpiece like this deserves it. Who's here listening to this masterpiece in 2024? I leave my comment here so that when someone decides to leave a "like", I get a notification and reminds me that I have to listen to this song again.💜
  • Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world 💕🥰

1973, in my room headphones on listening to pink floyd. 2024 listening to them on my phone. What a trip. ❤

If this does not give you goose bumps a time or two then you will never get it. THIS, yes THIS is music. What more can you say. Done over 30 years ago and nothing today can touch it. Wow

I was 13 when I first started listening to Pink Floyd.... here I am at 63 and still listening. Awesome!

I'm 82 and I'm revisiting this band. Pink Floyd has no equal in their field. Bravo! This is my all time fav band and thank you so much for your music - I can't get enough of it.
  • @ladarnton
I've heard every Pink Floyd concert online that there is. I've even heard this one. And I still get shivers and goose bumps during some of the passages. No other band does this to me. I'm 74 and I've heard this music a hundred times, at least. David Gilmour's musicality is unparalleled in rock music. He deserves a knighthood!
  • @joecostigan66
David Gilmour is a musical anomaly, no other guitarist can make the guitar sing the way he does, it's magical and no wonder Pink Floyd has been my favorite Rock group since 1981 when the Wall came out, my buddies and I all became huge followers, I'm now 57 and will be 58 in a few weeks and their music still moves me 😎 thank God I not only have amazing kids and grandkids now but I still feel young listening to Pink Floyd ❤
  • One of the best and most memorable concerts I have ever been to. Nobody compares to Pink Floyd. Sad that Richard Wright is no longer with us. He really put his heart into that keyboard. Glad I grew up in the Pink Floyd generation. I can close my eyes and go back in time listening to this amazing band.

Pink Floyd isn't just something to listen to, it's an experience. To grow up listening to Pink Floyd was really winning the cosmic lottery.
  • @alexandradip5839
My life partner, Giancarlo, listened to Pink Floyd songs every day. He played his red guitar along. He passed away in 2019 from cancer. Certainly the songs did him good.❤
  • @6ondab3ach
This is the kind of stuff that doesn't age. I'm convinced Gilmoures guitar work will remain a staple for centuries.

People, I am old enough and ugly enough to go back to the late 60s and early 70s when I discovered Pink Floyd. Here we are in 2023 and I still must admit PF was the greatest British rock band ever!! Never to be forgotten!:hand-purple-blue-peace:!!
  • @jxmai7687
We are all getting old, but Pink Floyd's music will be forever young.
  • @ClassicRock83
I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
  • This isn‘t just music, this is art. The melodies , the composition of instruments, the inclusion of sounds…this is art!
