Nicely done! I've been using tasmota on all my sonof devices for a while now, and yet still learned a lot from this tutorial - thank you!
  • I've been using Tasmota for a long while and I still learned a lot from this video - thank you!
  • Thank you! The Backlog has saved me hours of googling to get a light to wakeup to a different color!!

Thank you. I have spent hours to figure out the basics of using Tasmota. This video is a great summary of that and has given me some pointers of more possibilities - like the rule engine.
  • Great video! I've got a couple of sonoff basics waiting to be used at home and now I finally feel like I understand enough to get to it!

I understand how Youtube knows that I need videos about Tasmota. But, how did YOU knew that I needed this video? Thank you!

Great Video Rob... I have 55 devices in my house with Tasmota... using HA with MQTT... never knew that devices could work without a hub...never understood templates...thanks for all that you do, and in particular this video...:)

Great video Rob, nice work. Just about to change my sonoff devices to new WLAN. Had some help from one of great guys on Discord. The Home Assistant community is amazing. Thanks Rob

Another excellent video. You are so good at bringing things together. I already flash devices with Tasmota, but this vid showed me stuff I didn’t know!

Great video. I haven't played with Tasmota for a while, but it looks like it is really moving along.

I flashed my first firmware today - a Sonoff TH16 device - based on the information provided in your video. Thank you for an excellent, well-done video explanation of how to accomplish it. Some things have changed, e.g., the bin file is named tasmota.bin instead of sonoff.bin, and the board is different in the latest Sonoff TH16 devices (Ver 2.1). The circuit board now has a fifth pin labeled "EXP-LOG" in addition to VCC, RX, TX, and GND. I had to use a bench power supply (instead of just using the USB port on my iMac) and tweak the voltage up to 3.5V in order to get one of the boards to successfully complete the flash operation. Using NodeMCU PyFlasher as you recommended had the added benefit that I could erase the firmware at the start of each repeated attempt when one device kept aborting midway through the upload of the tasmota firmware; (it took me a dozen attempts to successfully flash that device). I sincerely appreciate your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Congratulations, fantastic job.... it was a pleasure to see this video.....
it would be fantastic if you make a video explaining how to configure in tasmota the timers by web in the Timers Configuration menu ( not by console).
