The older video-driver version used during this video had problems, which slowed down the system very much. Meanwhile I was able to fix that glitch and the startup time of the x11 environment is down to 15 seconds now.

Do you have a copy of the userland that you used for this?

did you consider running openinkpot on this hardware?
