I remember the Pippin from my time at The MultiMedia Corporation. I attended a meeting at Apple where I told them that it wouldn't work in Europe - they wanted to use 640 x 480, but in Europe our TV's were a different numbers of lines (768 x 576), and their solution was to double every fifth line! That would take the 480 and make it 576. It would have looked awful. It was basically a low-end Mac with a build-in CD-ROM drive, modem and TV modulator, plus a hand-held controller. It didn't last long, and we never made a CD-ROM for it - we did however make a CD-ROM for the similar concept Commodore CDTV - A Bun for Barney.

I would love it if apple computers could simply play everything on steam. Apparently I am in the minority as I do not play games on phones.

I pretty sure that if a gameconsole is launched itās based on the Apple TV. I also think that a new VR set will be ported to a new Apple TV so Iām thinking that a new Apple TV will be fitted with an M2 or M3 chip.
