Leeds residents are unhappy with the Harehills riot being used to paint a negative picture of their "vibrant, multicultural city", says local journalist Peg Alexander.

As a Leeds resident all my life I can confirm Harehills is and has been a horrendous place for many years

But it wasn't people from 'outside' according to information from the 'Roma community'.

Errrmm, we can all see exactly what it was. Video doesn't lie. Their local councillor already tried to spin it as 'far right from outside' but in the next breath acknowledged that they were all just fed up because they're victims of the government.

How are they deprived? Even in the wokest areas of the US, you don't get full free housing, full free healthcare, and endless subsidies.

The beauty of citizen journalists is we can now watch things as they happen instead of being told what happened by people who have a vested interest in stretching the truth! She wants us to believe this is a peaceful neighbourhood but we know what we saw.
