I lived on Maui in the 1970s and traveling around the West End of Maui was a nightmare it was all dirt and rock road and half the time the bridges were washed out and you had to turn back!

Lahaina was the heart of Maui. It’s still shocking that it’s completely gone!

Another thing all your viwers should know is not all the homeless are drug addicts or bad! Alot have been ran out with high prices ,loosing their homes because of greed. The housing situation is affecting every island 🏝 Alot of the homeless came from the mainland

This Hawaii series has been fun to watch Nick. You captured a lot in the short time you were there. I was on Oahu last year for 10 days. I didn't venture to any of the other islands. Looking forward to the Alaska series...and when you hit 1M subs. 😎✌️

We visited Maui in 2019. I waited my whole life to see that island and I was not disappointed with my experience. As I was swimming in the ocean near Kihei, I felt a large fish hit me. I couldn’t identify it. Not long after this, a man was bitten by a shark and soon passed away. Be careful in the water!

Nick says: Damit, before I even got here the clouds where here first, it's gonna rain on me. Well there's bound to be a beach I can relax in with sunshine 😂

So many fond memories of Maui going snorkeling at Molokini, horseback riding at Thompson Ranch, driving along the coast and seeing Humback Whales breeching or spouting water, hanging out on the beach and body surfing, visiting Paia and having a picnic and watching the wind surfer's, going to dinner at the Grand Wailea, having outdoor braekfasts near the Ocean. Visiting Lahaina to see the Banyan tree, its a shame what happened to Lahaina, especially for the locals. Enjoying the weather, and escaping the cold Winters. Maui will always be paradise to Me.

Thanks for taking me back to where I got my heart 💔 broken! There's an abandoned golf course you can hike in Kapalua and a great bed and breakfast in Kiehei. There's a beautiful treehouse in Hana you can rent! You do get the stink eye in places but for the most part I enjoyed my time there! Great video!

If I didn't know better, id think this was a third world country in some areas. Shame shame shame.
