  • scores like skyrim, lotr, hobbit, game of thrones, narnia, those just give me sense of peace and it makes me feel like i’m not where i am physically
  • i play this game way more than i should. best escape ever. i wish i could just walk right into the game and live in that beautiful world. first played this game 4 years ago when my then boyfriend, now husband, gave me it when i was signed off work with depression. i played the whole time and im certain it saved my life. i was in such a bad place until this game.
  • To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. may peace and calmness fill your life.
  • I sometimes just turn off the music while I play Skyrim so I can see how many different birdsongs I can identify and how the sounds vary by region. In Falkreath you hear more blue jays while near Riften you hear more blackbirds.
  • I am playing Skyrim from the very first day until now on a daily basis - and every time I load the game it feels like coming home. I am forever grateful with Bethesda for this game and Jeremy for his great music. I am 64 years old, and I never loved a game as much as I love Skyrim.

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” -- C.S Lewis
  • Your music compilations specifically the elder scrolls have become a daily part of what my family listens to
  • If you're reading this I just want you to know that you are a fantastic person. We all get stressed sometimes, and I just hope you remember that there are people that love you. Take care, and stay safe. Lots of love.❤

Skyrim is the reason I can never be 100% invested in any other game as I always come back to this world
  • This makes me want to live a simple life with nature. Simple clothes, a small stone house, a greenhouse to grow plants and another to use as hall, to play and fight with my friends on rainy days. A little bit of land full of trees. The picture is clear. This is what i will do.
  • ""Good luck out there. It seems like a tough time to be wandering Skyrim."
  • Two videos only a week apart? 😀 you’re spoiling us!!!
  • this game, when it came out in 2011, is still my number 1 game I play to this day. It helps me escape my 9hr work days of working, business meetings and project work. Just the other day, I was presenting project work to a client and I titled it "Project: Winterhold". Let's just say the purchaser signed the project because he asked me "Imperial or Stormcloak?". For a second, I felt like I was at an Inn talking to a nordic patron. Of course, I said Stormcloak. Project Signed.

I urge people to download this type of music, and go backpacking through an old growth redwood forest in Northern Cali / PNW. It's magical.

Man, this brings memories. I modded the shit out of it and it was the most amazing experience i had. Camping, fishing, ignoring the main quest line for ever. I was a khajiit hunter, trevelling around, hunting game and selling skins, getting drunk, climbing up hills, stealth clearing dungeons. Long live Rhojo the Red! Good memories :)
  • Composer Jeremy Soule's work on the Elder Scrolls series is nothing short of legendary. Skyrim itself rivals some of cinemas biggest blockbuster movie scores. Thank you very much for this AW! You've knocked it out of the park once again with this amazing update!

Damn it - I am going to end up playing through Skyrim...AGAIN.
