Your real life experiences (which we all encounter daily in our jobs) are more valuable to share than the over-rehearsed perfection so many other channels portray as a false sense of reality.

i felt that pinch when your linesman's snapped you. happens every damn time.
  • I always blow air with my big air compressor to clear out rocks , dirt ,and water bottles that people or kids put in there before you get back to pull cable in. I had a 6 inch pipe that I was going to pull (3) 500 mcm cables and 1 ground wire for (13,500 volts) a feed to a transformer and when I put air in it 12 water bottles blew out the end. I put pvc caps on my pipes now till I can get back to it . I still blow the pipe before I start anything.
  • Thanks for the flashbacks. loved pulling wire through clogged pipes.
  • Lovely video,it was worth the wait, another great job well done,Karly.

Awesome work! 👍Milwaukee have some awesome gloves, hardhats and safety glasses. Just a recomendation. and btw it is good to impose that on the aprentices too. 💯
  • @MOERKMOERT
We always use silicon spray to lube the cable when pulling in conduit.
  • @aquaman30k
Very clean install! That 3/4 looked like it was broken underground. Could be why there was so much dirt coming up. It always amazes me when owners of a multi-million dollar home cheaps out on an air cooled generator and partial home backup.
  • Generac makes a specialty cable for their generators with all the power and control all in one👍
  • @lylewatts6370
Great video and thank you for the info on the Generac. I have hook up other brands for commercial jobs but not a residential unit.
  • Coming from a generator technician I love seeing this cuz I never get to see the install of the gen I only ever see them all set! I love to know the work going into the install.
  • First video of Karly really struggling. I like it lol I mean It breaks that too perfect image of you a gorgeous female electrician doing everything easily and smoothly like a superhero, but here you're just a human like us. On social media content creators tend to only show the positive side of what they're doing or living as if their life is perfect like a dream. I don't like it, it's dishonest and misleading. Anyway, thank you for the video. Keep it up Karly :)
  • Great job! Good work on piping into the generator. A good electrician will always make it work. If You ever move to the states and need a job give us a shout.
  • You did a great job hooking it up. Whoever did the conduit should have placed caps over the ends when they installed it.
  • Hi I love to watch your work and also learn many things to improve my knowledge, especially when you are stuck at a certain point.
  • @sadekjs
Awesome job ⚡️⚡️⚡️ always makin the best YouTubes
