Today, we're in Kingston... I wish it was Jamaica but it's South West London and I've found a nice little pub that serves award winning BBQ food courtesy of Smok'd.

    I watched this clip about 3 month's ago, but chose not to comment on it then.

    The reason being is my daughter is a dentist in London and i treated her and her boyfriend to try the place out when they could.

    100 plus fillings later and after more scale and polishes than she would care to remember they managed to give it a try.

    In her E-mail to me, she said, i quote,

    'OMG Dad this was the best tasting, tender beef i have ever had !!'

    Needless to say i have ordered a good beef rub and Sauce to make it myself, this arrived today.

    I am a huge fan of Jacobs Ladder, I get mine from my local butcher and steam\broil it. It's very obvious watching this review that the meat in this case has been cooked to perfection. I think this is a sometimes not acknowledged or little recognised cut of beef that more should try. I am sure this video will fully reveal what some people are missing, the meat correctly cooked is incredibly tender and flakey.

    Another great review here, please keep them coming as I am just catching up on this channel.

    We have stopped doing the service charge. If the food, service and staff are spot on then we tip. There are so many places where the service, is low or is just so etc etc . Why are you paying more, thats the question. This place is local to me, food looks great, but again I resent having the service charge forced on us.

  • Iā€™m a bit late to the party on this one but I thought Iā€™d check out your BBQ videos.

    Great review as always - I think if you stick to this youā€™ll hit a million subs in a year or two.

    American BBQ style ribs or the Chinese BBQ Spare Ribs - Iā€™ve loved them since a boy and Iā€™m really glad we are getting more authentic American BBQ in the U.K. , as I think weā€™ve had to settle for oven bbq ribs from supermarkets for too long.
