There are better guitar players than BB, there are better singers than BB But NO ONE and I mean NO ONE has ever been able to deliver a song like BB. Powerful, soulful, his playing complemented his voice and his voice complemented his playing like no one else! They were one & the same. In 1968, my mom bought an album for me from a TV offer that had like 20 Top Songs - Iron Butterfly, Sam & Dave, The Supremes, etc - the one song that caught my young teen age ears over them all was a tune by someone that I'd never heard of at that time. That song as I'm Paying The Cost To Be The Boss by Mr BB King. Loved it then and love it now

BB KING was the king of the blues.

When my kids were younger and still at home come Saturday morning they knew when I started cleaning.... My either got BB King on . They'd be out the door quick. Now they're in their 30's they to hear him love the blues 🥰

He's one of my favorite guitarists, and I was lucky enough to see him live in concert

I had the honor of seeing the King at the electric factory in Philly about 1970. And then Eric Clapton came in and they jammed. Got my moneys worth that night. Small venue too.

I've learned to love a lot of different music over the years, but there will always be a special place for B.B.'s blues in me. So many years of listening to him. He was a great musician and performer.
