The Espada don't get an awful lot to do in TYBW, and while I hope the anime expands on their role somewhat, the truth is they don't really come into play properly until the light novel - CFYOW.
In today's video, we're going to look at what becomes of the former 3rd Espadas, Harribel and Nelliel, as of the end of the manga and into the novels!
What roles do they play? How powerful have they become? And what does the future of Hueco Mundo look like? Enjoy!

It’s weird to think that Ichigo and Haribel have never met or spoken to eachother. I feel like they would get along, considering Haribel’s aspect of death is sacrifice. Like Ichigo, she fights to protect others and never for the sake of violence.

Damn I love that Shark Empress outfit for Haribel. I would kill for the Espadas/Arrancar to finally get some damn justice in the Hell Arc after how they were handled both in the Blood War and the tail end of their own storyline.

Since Harribel respected Starrk, I like to thnk the fur coat is a call back to him.

Nel is a great character! I always got a kick out the fact that in her adult form, she could go from a serious fighter to acting like a kid almost at the flip of a switch personality wise in the original anime! That scene of her almost crushing Ichigo's spine while hugging him is one of my favorite comedic scenes in that show!

I honestly like how Nelliel and Harribel, who both coincidentally enough held the title of Tres Espada, both rule Hueco Mundo together.

Did anyone notice because I just did, @5:16, that Nelliel is standing comfortably on a slope? Is that a reference to her resurrection being "goat-like"? Kubo strikes again.

Since it's implied that grimmjow is slowly approaching a segunda etapa, i'd love a story where he has to grapple with either using it to become king or finally accepting the other arrancar as family.

It's a shame that the Tres Bestias were not involved in rescuing Harribel. She's their leader, after all.
