My girlfriend is 4 months pregnant and at our first ultrasound the doctor immediately says "oh my we have a little dancer". Hoping for a boy, Elton Patrick, November 2021 ❤ Update: ITS A BOY

My little brother passed away the day before thanksgiving. I went through the last text messages we sent each other. And he had sent me this song. I’m not much of an Elton John fan, but this song means so much to me now. And listening to over and over I can’t believe such a beautiful song can make me feel so sad.

My boyfriend back in highschool, 1977, he bought me every Elton John album and this was our favorite song. He passed away today. I am playing it for him.❤❤

The scene of the woman clutching her sobriety coin and crying at the liquor store crushes my heart. Alcoholism is a daily battle and I pray for all those who suffer.

We’ve lost Freddie, but be thankful for we still have Elton! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

This guy is probably gonna be famous someday. I can feel.

This song was the last song my dad ever sent me before he passed away. This is my first time listening to it. I haven’t cried so much since the day of his passing. Dec 19/23 🕊️

This may be the best "real" depiction of living in LA ever put to film.

The whole point of the video I think is that the song transcends any person or any emotion. It can be happy or crushingly sad. It can represent freedom or represent imprisonment. This is more interesting than what would have been just another love song music video.

A song I dedicated to my son Ezekiel. This song always popped in my head. My baby was the tiny dancer. Just the chorus. His hands and legs. . I didn't take my eyes off while he was alive. I said stay in contact when I kissed him the last time. ❤🌹

This video does an amazing job of capturing how this timeless song can range from exuberantly happy to devastatingly sad by looking at one random day for various people in Los Angeles. Great job whoever thought of it, it’s absolutely perfect for the song.

How wonderful life is while Elton John is in the world.
-
Difficult to believe that this song is 48 years old! Still sounds so good.
-
I'm a 64 year old man - well almost - and because of this video, I bought the CD. What great memories this music era brings to mind. Turn it UP.
-
The song is legendary…but oh my God. This video is so heartbreaking and happy all at once. What a masterpiece.

If it wasn’t for this song, I probably wouldn’t exist. My dad pursued my mom for months without any luck. One night, he sat in her room while she put on makeup for a date with another boy. My dad was persistent lol. This song came on, and he asked her to dance. She felt a type of way about him during that dance that she didn’t feel before. The rest is history. Thanks, Elton! 😂

I was 16 when my grandma passed. I got a old 1970s record player from her. She used to turn it on and clean house every Sunday. She had Johnny cash, CCR, Eagles and a lot more records. One day after she passed I went to her house and opened up that old record player. I turned it on. I wandered. What was the last song she cleaned to? Before she got sick and passed away ya know? Tiny dancer. On a 45. I was 16 years old crying like a baby. But now it’s almost 4 years later and this song still gets to me. God damn I love Elton John.

hanging on to her sobriety hits me right in the feelings..... RESPECT 🙏

I’m so glad that instead of making this video about just the song, they also made it about how it makes us feel. Bittersweet, dreamy, happy, poignant.
