just in case anyone was wondering i took it upon myself to count the stars there is about 39 stars (an estimate, i counted but probably made a mistake)

In case anyone was wondering, there are 83 stars on the original background and 33 stars on the finished flag. Edit: There are also a few smaller partial stars but they aren't really big enough to count. However, if you do count them then it is 84 on the original background and 34 on the finished flag.
