Taking mega-scoops- nay, armloads of sweeping curved feedback and throwing it down, to have it explode into dozens of tiny speeding curly Q's, skittering about the seafloor/stage.. Hiding under Mitch's drum kit, to re-assimilate / to rise again... Re-intro chopping figure and off, careening and wheeling about the stage before settling into the next verse. 11:28 Count in~ "one two... One (fading) two... three...": "Fire" Snatches a sneaky fine-tuning mid lead without missing a beat, while really getting superb traction on what are sometimes squeaky squirelly lead figures, even for a Master... 15:19 faux intro - pause launch: "Lover Man" Guitar really jumps out front as the solo starts to get traction. perhaps using his teeth on the accents? Nice wah 20:20 "Sunshine of Your love" Feels even more like an instrumental, what without the standard fawning obsequience for Lord Eric (not that there's anything wrong with that yo ). Lava-lamp psuedo-bass acapella pre-figure into the "creative departure" group riff gets the peanut gallery whistling with approval, return and leave 'em hanging with a ghost outro, or tape cut? anyhow, return with: 28:35 "Spanish Castle Magic" fuck this "tl-dr" quasi-wittique: I'm strapping in... You guys can probably be ok from here on out, yes? Thanks for hangin' so far- nJoy! ~32:08 tape break finally resolves into "Let The Good Times Roll" ... Ich habe Hendrix noch selbst erlebt live und alle seine Scheiben gehabt, die Aufnahme geht noch aber was einem sonst so geboten wird, ist grauenhaft, Hendrix hätte sich geärgert!
