  • I wish someone paid me $117,000 for my ability to not be able to dunk a basketball while no one watches.
  • I got in legal troubles and the judge gave me an ultimatum: Either I attend a full WNBA season, or spend a year in jail... I just got out of jail.
  • SHE MADE 48K AS A ROOKIE IN THE WNBA. I DON'T THINK HER FRANCHISE MADE 48K FROM TELEVISION RIGHTS TO BEGIN WITH.
  • WNBA is an inspiration to my grandma. She suffered a leg injury in an accident but one day while watching WNBA she was able to walk in front of the TV and turned it off.
  • The fact this got more views than the WNBA’s top plays
  • @MrLathor
It’s amazing how they think they are victims for doing a job year round for a decent paycheck like everybody else in the world. That is pure entitlement. People cannot stop comparing themselves to others.
  • Its crazy that Kyrie paid some of their salaries and none of them had his back or spoke out for him, including retired players.
  • One of my friends jumped aboard the woke train, and she spouts all their talking points. She doesn't watch the WNBA though, because it bores her.

WNBA revenue: 60 million. NBA revenue: 8.3 billion. Do the maths.
  • When you realize that you made more in a year than a “professional” athlete …I drive a forklift 😂#Winning
  • This is the problem. It’s not a sport; it’s activism.
  • Imagine working for a job that gets no customers and demanding a pay raise.
  • Imagine making 100k a year to play 34 games in a empty gym 🏃🏿‍♂️
  • She ONLY had a month off- traveling the country 😭😭😭 tragic
  • @ramjetrth
Her justification for equal pay is the work the players put in. If that were the criteria there'd be a lot of high payed amateurs. Some of the hardest working athletes never make it to the pros.
  • Here's a scenario for everyone watching and reading these comments. Imagine working for a company that pays you $200,000 a year and you've been there for 13 years, that'd be pretty sweet right? Now also imagine that company that you've been at for 13 years hasn't made a single penny for those 13 years and in fact loses millions of dollars each year. Now imagine yourself getting pissed off and demanding a raise, while you are fully aware the company you work for shouldn't even exist and at any point could close its doors and you wouldn't have a job tomorrow.......welcome to the WNBA.

If you’re a professional athlete, you’re an entertainer. You’re paid based on your ability to entertain people. No one technically cares about the amount of work you put into it or how long you practice...
  • If you filled up the seats, you could get paid. It's that simple.
  • Like Bill Burr said, "no WNBA player has caught covid... playing in front of 300 people in a 20,000 seat arena" lol
