This was the most beautiful and realist speech I've heard from any man at an award show.. His wife was sticking her neck out waiting on him to mention her instead of humbling herself and when he did it was a lil something. His shout out to his mother was everything especially when he said the power of a black woman. 😜

It’s insane I remember seeing all the OG’s get their lifetime achievements awards from my parents generation now I’m seeing all the OG’s from my generation get theirs! For the record Usher is from Tennessee not Atlanta as a Tennesseean!

Watching his speech is bringing tears to my eyes. He definitely deserves a lifetime achievement award and so much more. I have loved Usher since I was 11 years old. I am now 32 years old. He has and always will be my favorite artist. I was blessed enough to have parents that bought me tickets to his Confessions tour in NY when I was 12 or 13 years old. My room when I was in middle school was plastered with his posters and cutouts of magazines.
