Hiro actually stops time in this clip, but after catching up to her, he relaxes and subconsciously starts to just slow down time. The trail was visible the entire time until he catched up, I think he even breathed in as the trail starts getting to her and light starts to move again.

It’s crazy to me how Heroes came out in 2006 yet a lot of the special FX on this show is better than super hero shows now.

I love how Hiro in canon is a Jojo fan. He even says "Muda muda" in one episode Edit: Apparently people thought I assumed he was a Jojo fan based on the "muda muda". Not at all. The character's bio on the Heroes site back in the day straight up mention him being a fan of Manga, including Jojo.

I like how this shows 2 different abilities interact with each other. If I remember correctly, Hiro sometimes can only slow time instead of stopping it when he's weak, so maybe at his best, he could still stop the speedster. She's actually one of those character I was hoping to see a lot mroe of, interacting with Hiro. Would be cool to see Hiro meetinh her again and tried harder to stop time but still failed to completely stops it, she'd still be able to move but in slow mo. It's been so many years, why don't they just reboot this storyline buy maybe tweak it a bit and make it better. TV series nowadays are like long movies. Reborn was bad.
