I know people bring up that Magneto could've just used his powers to just escape the metal cars and handcuffs, but I've come to like the idea that he was just so ashamed of himself for falling for such an obvious and banal ruse that he just checked out.

The dialogue was equally wooden.

Magneto's gonna live out the rest of his life in paranoia not knowing the difference between wood and metal.

It's hilarious. Magneto was so shocked that he got tricked, he forgot to use his magnetism on the police cars or their regular guns.

This Magneto is hilarious but lets at least give a standing ovation to the voice actor who gave it his all to lend gravitas and drama to hilarious situations.

The ending seems less like he's being arrested and more like he's being escorted to a senior care facility to treat his dementia.

Mr. Fantastic: “I didn’t, it’s a wooden gun. I tricked you.”
Magneto: “Oh…well fuck this I’m getting out of here!”
Mr. Fantastic:“Impossible! You surrendered!” -
Historians will be studying the subtilties and nuances of this dialogue for years to come.
