This fan-made ship was the top pick over on MetaNerdz.com, and it is definitely an interesting ship. See how it compared to the Old Republic era Harrower-class Star Dreadnought, and the Republic era Venator-class Star Destroyer. See how this was used like the Golan Defense Platforms, and protected the Core worlds like Byss and Coruscant, as well as Palpatine’s clones. Also check out the stat and size comparisons for the ISD, Imperial Star Destroyer, and other Star Wars Capital Ships.

  • The harrower is one of the best examples how cool all the Designs in the old republic were
  • I would really want this as canon, and for once, I wouldn't mind being the captain of this ship more than the Venator. Never thought that would happen. Very nice vid too btw, great as always!
  • The harrower class still has more firepower then this shows the true engineering design of grand moff vaiken the best patriot of the sith empire
  • I like this ship because it isn't OP, but has sensible stats, and a legit purpose other than just existing. Good pick Meta!
  • @PSL09
oooohhhh my favorite two capital ships combined noice
  • Don't forget about the Secutor class star destroyer. It looks as though the Venator had two big brothers.

I love how your starting to do fan ships

A better design would be to have launch bays on either side, in the cut out sections of the 'U', with point defense guns and tractor emitters on the walls of the cut out sections, either side of the launch bays that are at the base of the 'U'. These would cover the bays from enemy starfighters as they would have intersecting fields of fire that would create a death zone in front (especially for sneaky Jedi/Sith types). Have the emitters mounted flat on the walls and able to aim into the bay, they could hold enemy ships (including larger corvettes, for the guns to kill) and assist with recovering damaged and captured ships. A couple of small ion guns could be added to assist with disabling ships as well. The point defense guns could be mostly placed on the top and bottom leading and trailing edges of the 'U' so they can fire to the respective top or bottom arc of the ship if no fighters present themselves directly broadside or opposite front or back of the respective wall of the ship. As for the main heavy turbolasers, instead of the ridiculous broadsides through shields arrangement of the Venator, they are group mounted in turrets staggered along the side of the hull on the 'arrow blade' of the wedge, where they can target both to the front and the side, almost to the rear arc. And from pure vertical both top and bottom. The nose of the ship is no longer a vulnerable zone and fighters can launch from cover either side and then break up, down, or straight out to the side. And with a threw bay, one side can be dedicated to launching and one to docking, avoiding the risk of collision, if necessary, (during a battle if ships are coming in for battle damage or resupply of ordinance). And having two bays doubles the number of fighters that can be launched at a time during a scramble, and prevents an accident blocking both bays. The medium turbolasers would probably be mounted along the flat of the wedge since its free of other projections and covers both the front and either top or bottom arc (and they wouldn't be used for a base delta zero, unlike the heavy turbolasers, so being able to only employ half of them to the top or bottom arc is not an issue, although why don't capital ships just aim nose first at a planet to bring all guns to bare ?). Laser cannons can be mixed in amongst them as well to protect against enemy fighters, especially if they are trying to strafe the bridge. Now all it needs is to fix that bloody vulnerable bridge issue, and maybe stick some point defense on the rear to protect the engines. Season with heavy ion cannons and missile and torpedo launchers as you wish and the ship is complete. It is deadly to the front, top and bottom and half as deadly to the sides (2/3rds if you include medium turbolasers). And it has multiple connected, protected launch bays with covering fire. And starfighters can dock and relaunch during combat without exposing themselves too much to counterfire. Just hope they install a internal bridge in case of a stray A-Wing …
  • And now youve gained another 1,000 subs. But you know what it is, its because the content is so good 👍
  • This is one hell of a cool ship. I hope it gets a canon use soon, it's like a normal Imperial star destroyer but with a more logical and balanced load out that includes fighters and torpedoes
  • Can we have more videos on these lesser-known ships please. because I loved this one thanks.
  • Amazing fandom ship it looks cool and awesome. Great video
  • @casbot71
Would be interesting to see a Star Wars capital ship that took design cues from Battlestar Galactica (say the Pegasus, with it's gun emplacements staggered and angled that allow all to fire on front and to the side) in the layout of launch bays ect. After all, colonial Vipers have some inspiration from X- Wings.
  • You find new ways to entertain us! I think it would be awesome to take a bigger look at these fandom ships.
  • What we could do is rip the shields off of one of these and slap them on to a kandosii (provided the kandosii had less shields) and possibly the reactor (provided we could fit it) and you have yourself one impressive warship. Maybe pull even more of a Han Solo and give the thing quad turbo Lasers... anyway, I’m in awe of the size of this ship. Absolute unit.
