I was supposed to hear your story today since I went through the same thing and I needed years in order to understand and grasp what had happened to me and why. In the past couple of years God has slowly been healing my soul, starting with childhood trauma up up a messed up adult life. He slowly led my into a wonderful church and I began a wonderful friendship with a man who is a role model to me in following Jesus Christ, who prays for me, with me and over me, who believes in me, encourages me and respects me. All of this is so new and I am so grateful for what God has been doing with me and in my life.

I am going through so much right now with physical illness and other issues in my life, and I have been single now for 2 years after a 4 year relationship. We broke up over my faith and also my illness (he was an atheist). Now I see it was good that we broke up, but I’m 26 and concerned there is no man for me, but I have to have faith that God does have someone special at the right time.
