As a former teacher, you would be destroyed by the kids if you were this chill.

We had a English teacher that was a frat guy right out of college and he partied hard every night. He’d come to school so hung over that he’d just sit at his desk with his head down and we’d watch either Tommy Boy or Black sheep every day cause he was a huge Farley fan. He only lasted one year! 🤣🤣

There actually are cool teachers and uncles, but they don't try to be cool; they just are.

You wore the exact outfit as our school's "cool teacher". Nailed it and that was over 25 year's ago.

"I'm not gonna do that to myself but thanks for the suggestion" 😂😂😂

Kid: Weekend was out of pocket! Me: Insurance didn't cover it?

The same teacher who mysteriously gets fired later in the year.

Our "cool teacher" was the debate coach. Dude had worked literally every kind of job and had been all around the wo4ld b3fore becoming a teacher. He got fired from his last teaching job for telling the superintendent to go fuck himself. He would always cut the bullshit and shoot straight with us. I still think he was legit a cool teacher.
  • My favorite cool teacher was a high school English teacher super eccentric wore vintage suits from the 50s early 60s narrow lapels etc seersucker in the warm months with a bow tie rode an ancient 3 speed Schwinn bicycle to work... miss you Mr Conway

Adults trying to be pals with kids using their lingo will never not be cringe.

25 years ago my 7th grade science teacher used the word pizzazz way too often. This is scary accurate.

One of our long-term substitute teachers became a founding member of the 10,000 Maniacs. That was cool!

This is our spare math teacher in the 70s. Alas, our regulars were an ultra strict husband and wife couple in their 70s - Mr & Mrs Evans. Class was silent in their presence for all 5 years! Even the baddest pupil was schtum for the full 40 minutes of class. I think if I was a teacher I would be just strict enough to maintain order so class would actually learn something and be funteresting enough for them to take an interest in the subjects.

I assure you, this is never the case with Math Teachers...there's just too much to learn for this much chit-chat!
