Them releasing the even the controllers all depends on them bringing in a LOT of money on the Amico Home games, which have all sold abysmally. I think it's only a matter of time now, before they just throw up their hands and give up. Even DJC, the YouTuber who at one point made Amico his entire brand, hasn't said a word about it in two months. Him, along with other "official testers" like Mike Mullis and Atari Creep no longer produce any Amico content. With the latter getting hostile if you even bring the Amico up.

Another fun tidbit that just came up, these games that DJC, Mike Mullis and Atari Creep are supposedly playtesting all the time have tons of bugs and glitches that people who forked out $15 per game are complaining to Alvarado about in the official Discord. Alvarado got caught in quite the lie over one such glitch. See, he claimed that Cornhole is the game he plays the most, but if he had, he surely would have noticed that it was impossible to get past the amateur league. He then admitted that he has just two coders running from game to game slapping patches on the issues that keep popping up in these games that were allegedly ready to go four years ago.

I would most likely buy Astiosmash and Shark Shark if they were released on the VCS. As mentioned, having to rely on the Amico Home and controller apps is an exercise in stupidity and is completely unnecessary. I suppose that the only reason why this is the case is because they don't have the manpower or resources to detach the games from their Android-based console origins. I guess $17 million doesn't go as far as it once did.

Amico home games have their own features like the extra controller display for activating traps on the controllerscreen secretly in sideswipers or in shark shark the animated clam hint for the player with the lowest score and the home menu is so wonderful animated it looks like a game arcade with all the flying childfriendly animated screens which are playing previews like in classic arcade machines before inserting the coin compared with other static menus like switch, xbox, playstation which have unanimated boring boxes without any love or fun features.

Thanks, good video. Disagree a bit with the assessment that with the home app there is little reason for the console. IE nor anyone else is very likely going to generate a lot of revenue in the mobile arena, there is just too much there to attract customers in very large numbers; now a console sitting on Walmart and Target shelves, that would be a different story. For those just wanting access to the games, Amico Home may be enough (it’s not for me), but if IE wants any chance to greatly increase revenue, they are going to need work towards a console release (and get them available on shelves).

I said since day 1. Make a controller that utilizes and app.....but nooooo Tommy had to go ahead a steal 30 millions dollars. Love the new mascot, lot of thought into that huh. I'm just mad because every time I see a video about the Amico scandal it angers me that Tommy's best friend shigeru Miyamoto-san is never in any of them. I mean Tommy don't lie it's gotta be true. Plus Aerosmith is on their final ever peace out tour so Tommy should be announcing that he's taking a leave of absence to tour with them. His cousin Stevie needs him bad I'm sure. Regardless how this dumpster fire eventually burns the only thing that was achieved was the defrauding of thousands of people even myself. Still waiting on my refund, checks in the mail 9 months now. The only purpose of making a controller is to avoid jail time and lawsuits because it gives intellivision the ability to lie and say oh yeah we delivered here it is, we did nothing wrong.....suckers I need a drink
