EDIT AGAIN: The download is broken and I'm looking for another place to host it. In the meantime many of the online downloaders still work (for now). Peace and love!

There are two kinds of people:- 1)Those who love Nujabes. 2)Those who don't know about him.
  • I discovered Nujabes in February. I'm Chilean and my family has this tradition where after you turn 15 everyone chips in to gift you a trip outside Chile with one of your respective parent (usually daughters with mothers and sons with fathers). Long story short my dad couldn't leave the country and though we weren't struggling financially, we were going through a low point at the time (now we're a lot better). So I didn't get the trip (I'm the youngest of 5 siblings so I was pretty bummed). Years passed and my dad kept going on about how he wanted to take me to San Francisco because that's where he and my mom went shortly after meeting and really fell in love, so in turn he loves the city. I turn 19 and to my surprise my gift is a trip along the west coast of the US! I could go on about the whole thing, but there was this one moment that will always stick with me. We were at Golden Gate Park (me and my dad) and this beautiful sunny day turns to the most heavy rain in the world. Seeking refuge we got into the first café we could find, just outside on of the entrances of the park. Once inside we order two BLTs (we were starving) and sit with our drinks. As I watch outside the window how it rained in the city, "Luv(sic) Part 2" kicks in, and my dad starts telling me how the whole experience this far (we were kinda at the end of the trip) was one of the best things in his life, because he did it with me. So we kept on talking, ended up having a very chill but emotional conversation while the rest of the record was playing. As we left, I ask the girl in the counter what was playing and she sends a link to the songs, songs that I have been playing non stop since I got back home.
  • Luv Sic Part 1 - He is dreaming of love Luv Sic Part 2 - He lives among love, but not with it Luv Sic Part 3 - He actively seeks love Luv Sic Part 4 - He experiences love Luv Sic Part 5 - He loses love Luv Sic Part 6 - He is stronger for having known love
  • We all miss Nujabes, but Shing02 is still around and we're not really giving him his due respect. His lyrics and Nujabes beats elevated each other.
  • I cannot describe the level of sadness you feel when you're just getting into someone's music and then discover that they're not here anymore.

@megadot said it best: "The first song is discovery. The second song is falling in love. The third is about taking all the bullshit out and live simple. The fourth song is about growing old together. The fifth is about loss and the hopefulness associated with it... And the final song is about meeting once again, in the afterlife. This is what life should be. Everyone is always yearning for love, luv sic. And here's hoping everyone gets theirs before the end."
  • I met this lovely guy online 2 years ago because we somehow had Nujabes as our common interest. He’s French and I’m Japanese but we both know a little English. Mainly we bonded over Nujabes, especially the Luvsic Hexalogy. When we first met, we were just listening to his songs while trying our best to communicate. It was hard but we had fun. We both learn more English and talked better. He asked me to be his girlfriend and been together ever since. It’s a LDR right now but we’re both looking forward to see each other again.
  • till death do us part, and it did. fuck dude..
  • My 18yr old son introduced Nujabes to me, I think this is the most beautiful music I ever heard. RIP Nujabes
  • I went to Japan last year and listening to Luv Sic pt2 while walking around Tokyo was one of the greatest feelings ever.
  • @notryan2496
Homeless in my car, this always makes me feel better and feel hope. ❤
  • It all started with Samurai Champloo and I don't regret the crazy amount of time I spend just listening to Nujabes and Shing02!
  • “the devil in me saw the god in you” I love that line so much, explains so much and it is so flexible to interpretation.
  • @Warbr33d
I remember how I was hitchhiking in Japan, and a middle-aged woman stopped and picked me up. While in her car, she was playing this and I remembered it was such soulful music. After we had exchanged pleasantries it was so soothing just crusing through the Japanese countryside with this in the background. After the journey, she dropped me to a train station and gave me 10000 yen. I'll never forget that.
  • I'm sad because i discovered Nujabes after his death. His music is so beautiful
  • @Kshesho
Nujabes had the ability to bring so many people together and create YouTube comment sections that have virtually no hostility. Now that's something special.
  • This is THE album I listen to at the start of every year. RIP Nujabes and now, MF DOOM.
  • A man dies when he gets forgoten - Dr. Hiluluk from One Piece Nujabes isn't dead!
