  • I've been reporting this story basically for a decade. LA was a space power that had fallen on tough times. Now it's back with a vengeance and is the clear capital of New Space. No better guide to explain how this happened than the rocket god Tom Mueller. Hope you enjoy!

After Tom left SpaceX, I thought he had retired and was no longer in the world of aerospace industry, I didn't know that now he has his own company, it's good to see that someone at this level of experience and expertise still is a part of this industry.

As a young aerospace engineer in LA, I love seeing the history and the city captured in this awesome documentary
  • I love Bloomberg documentaries - but this one particularly. Thx to the whole team making this information-loaded content piece <3

Ashlee Vance is the best at finding people involved in space and finding many ways to talk as little about space as possible.

Never disappointed Ashley Vance always excellent!
  • Thanks to Ashley for covering Tom. Tom's work at TRW paved the way for SpaceX, and his work at SpaceX itself on their Falcon rockets is a major reason for their success.
  • I never heard of Impulse Space until now. Turns out they are within spitting distance from my home in Torrance. So cool to think amazing innovations are taking place in my own backyard!
  • Yeap. These are great. Very, very cool indeed. I loved the first series and they just keep on coming. Well done Ashley, well done mate...
  • This was so entertaining and honestly inspiring. Please keep doing this series!

Reaaaaaally wish you hadnt just faded out on Tom explaining the core of his buisness and how the engines are going to function. Or at least make a for nerds version for those that have a shot at understanding

Ashley I don’t know if you read this - but thank you for sharing with the world these great individuals changing the world for the better. Your documentary’s always make me excited for the future - thank you!
  • Wow! Computing and data farms in Space is a really cool, outside the box, idea. Geosynchronous or Lagrange positioning would be most beneficial methinks.

What an inspiring Space Tale. Currently reading 'Elon Musk' by Walter Isaacson, and I came across Tom multiple times. So excited to finally see him up close.
