"They called him joyboy!! He was the first man to take to the seas, The first one to be called a pirate!" -Eichiro GODA (unrivalled)

One small yet important detail, in my opinion, is that Elbaf is fable written backwards and there's many legends in the One Piece world coming from Elbaf. Plus, in this chapter we saw Oda calling it the fabled island of Elbaf. There's gotta be something more than meets the eye about Elbaf and the giant tree, like in that fable "Jack and the Beanstalk" also known as "Jack the Giant Killer" which reminds me of the Giant Jack from the Upper Yard in Skypiea.

Nika was a giant, Joyboy a buccaneer, Luffy a human

No way we might be finally getting Void Century lore 😭😭 Oda cooking too much peak. I can’t handle it ong
  • I have a feeling that Joyboy's life was very much like Oden's- A overly powerful prince who is good at heart and always wanted to cause mischief and what not. Maybe he was someone who didn't wanna do what what everyone wanted but wanted to do what he wants for everyone, kinda like Luffy's Selfish selflessness. I think after turning a certain age he decided he wanted to leave the kingdom and explore the world, but maybe his parents kinda forbided him from doing so and gave him a city to rule, but he broke apart that piece of land and just started floating around, becoming the first pirate.

If you think about Oars Jr for a second. He is said to be decended from Oars THE CONTINENT-PULLER! Continent, not an island

About 108, it is also an element (radioactive one) of the periodic table, with atomic number 108, named Hassium. Interestingly enough it has been studied for scientific purposes regarding utilizing the energy being emitted from it and used as nuclear energy.

And to think I encountered more discussion of Akainus jawline than the reveal of the Mother Flame.

THANK YOU FOR NOTICING THE SATURN REACTION TO THE MOTHER FLAME! many of the one piece theorists I follow have not even mentioned it and I was going insano style about it

  • In yoga, there are 108 Surya namashkar poses, Surya meaning Sun. Maybe that could be one clue for S-108

108 could also be referencing to the liquid inside the tank being Molten Silver since Silver's atomic weight is 108 as well... But probably not.
